Could you tell me where the field is...coaches haven't mentioned it yet and I want to try and come to this one since it may be Hannas last game of the season if she gets to pitch for the JV:)

I think it would be a great fit if they give her a chance...she plays high school ball with one player, has played summer rec ball with two others and practiced with a fourth:) LOL

changed every hour and I could be getting bad info but I heard Campbell and Newport cancelled on us this week. i have that we are playing you all thursday?

I'm guessing the age cutoff is jan.1? She is 16 right now, turns 17 this coming Nov. 20:)

we are still looking for a good fit for our 16 (17 in november) pitcher/first baseman. Would like to stay as local as possible, and looking for great, encouraging coaches that will help her better her overall skills as a player. Let me know if anyone is looking or having tryouts for summer and/or fall ball:)

of course i wish the outcome were different, but i found it entertaining to be able to get out on a nice evening and watch the girls play..this game always has a great atmosphere to it with its history of rivalry;) I really felt like it was either teams game to win this year, talent wise, both varsity and JV! just didnt go the camels way:( congrats to the stangs, they definitely win the "spirit award"... my ears are still ringing...LOL

I would bet my precious pain medication that this will NOT happen:) LOL Am looking forward to the game next week, although I only made the JV game last night, my DD said they played better than ever, hopefully a light bulb has switched on and they STAY playing like that....time will tell, right? I think I will over-medicate myself for this game, just in case:) Good luck to both teams, it's always fun to watch!

I am HIGHLY upset that due my spinal fusion surgery next tuesday, I will be in the hospital and will miss my favorite game(s) of the season...CCHS vs. BBHS on wednesday. Someone PLEASE do a play by play that night so I can get my "fix"...whomever wins:)

Bellevue never bothers to even show up!!! I agree that it does not help us to play some of theses teams, but you never know what is going to show up talent wise, right? It was pretty clear the other night after the first inning, then it just became a joke to the other team, they were wasting time and laughing...and we were there to play! Double edged sword I suppose...

Exactly! We were in a situation last night during a JV game where the score was 27-1 after two innings...that doesn't teach EITHER team anything at all. I felt horrible for the pitcher and our team walked mostly so they didn't even get a batting practice out of it...but what about the "lesser" teams...how do they ever get experience if no one would ever play them?? Tough situation!

Thanks! Now if we could get her to throw at games like she does at lessons! LOL She is a "careful" pitcher:( Hopefully she will build her confidence and grow out of that! Yes the Rice girl is quite the athlete!!! She saved the shut out with the throw to home:) The Lady Cats kept playing and didn't give up, I wish we played them more often, with how close we are to each other:)

St Henry over Campbell 9-5 Boone over Campbell 6-5 CAL over Campbell 8-5 and I think Campbell over Ludlow? 12-2 was out of town for that one. Cold but great tournament and lots of fun, wish there were more local things like this:)

:sssh: Geesh, I usually enjoy browsing and posting on this site, it is full of information...but in the past week it has turned into a "my team, my player, my coach, etc." is the best and your team sucks. I feel like I am back in highschool, not the parent of a highschooler. Anyhow, I think I will take a break from here for awhile...good luck to all the girls of all the teams, I hope everyone has a healthy, successful season:)
