WOW....After what I witnessed, I don't know how any player from either team could be eligible this week. I don't have a dog in the fight (no pun intended) but only one player from Breathitt being suspended is an absolute crime. #81 absolutely deserved to be suspended but there were many more swinging like rusty gates out there. I guess the PCC players will set out the first 2 next season unless they were seniors and they got a freebee I guess.

I was at the game and believe me, there were no players left on the sidelines for either team. Breathitts coaches were in in panic mode trying to get it stopped because I'm sure they were aware of the consequences but every single player from both sides was out in the middle of the field. It happened so quickly that I didn't see who started it. The only # I remember is #81 for Breathitt just flooring someone. It was a very ugly and dangerous situation.

I was at the Breathitt County/Pike Central game on Friday night, won big by Breathitt County. With about 1:40 to go in the game a huge bench clearing brawl occurred. Several players were being knocked down on both sides, punches being thrown. It was bad enough that the officials suspended play and ended the game. I haven't heard of any players being ejected or suspended this week for Breathitt when they travel to Belfry. Anyone know of any suspensions?

Absolutely rediculous post. Of course Phelps wanted to be in the playoffs. No matter the score or outcome they wanted to be there. Nobody likes to get hammered but most like to compete. The dream of the big upset is what its all about. They're kids. The risk of injury is there every week. Not just against a good opponent. If they didn't want to play or compete against the better opponents and try to get better themselves they wouldn't be playing. Life is all about getting better. You don't do that by staying home when the going gets tough.

Carrolls defense has been a little suspect over the past few weeks but the offense has been carrying them. I don't think Lloyd ia that far ahead of them at this point. Carroll in a slugfest.
