Good question. Anyone know of any fall leagues at all for travel teams too? You would think with all the travel teams this year in NKY there would be a fall league somewhere. Also any fall tournaments that anyone would recommend?

Interesting, Haylee Smith is Enquirere POY and she didn't even make the Coaches Association first team. Congratulations to Haylee and all the other girls on their selections to the Enquirer All Star teams. Way to go girls!

Antonio Campbell - Covington Holy Cross. Definitely a player that had a big impact on the Holy Cross program for the past couple years.

Dixie should be solid again this year with the return of Brandon Hatton and a number of players with experience that saw plenty of playing time last season. Does anyone know what their schedule is for this coming season?

I would agree with you, however, I do give the coach props for promoting her team by being a member and making the trip to the coaches meeting.

It should be brought up at every meeting and the benefits, especially for the players, should be discussed.

So are you assuming the Ryle coach was able to vote for themselves for coach and vote for their own player and those were the only votes cast for the 9th region? Is there someone that can give us some clarification on how this works? Can coaches vote for other coaches and players from other regions or can you only vote for players & coaches from your own region? Does anyone know if the coaches from Conner, Lloyd or Covington Latin actually voted or not? Sorry I seem to be confused, this just seems really strange to me.

No doubt, I agree. Yesterday I heard on one of the radio stations that Greenwood is rated #3 in the Country. Is that correct? If so, Wow, that is awesome.

Congratulations to all these girls on the junior and senior rosters. How are these teams chosen? Just curious. I assume some kids choose not to play due to AAU or other reasons. Was thinking Futscher from Brossart, Kiernan from NCC and Ogle from ND would have been on the roster for the juniors. These are three of the top juniors from this year IMO, if not, the top three.

Who pitched for ND? Can't imagine Smith giving up that many runs unless there were a lot of errors. Good luck to ND in their next game. Who do they play next? Go Pandas.
