Great write up on all the teams. I know it's difficult to mention every player. However in the write up for Campbell County Ashley Leight should be mentioned. She is a two year starter and only a sophomore. She can play OF or IF and would assume she will share some of the pitching duties with Walsh. She is a really good athlete with good speed on the bases. She can hit for power and will steel some bases. Campbell County should be very good for the next few years with all the talent they have. It will be interesting to see if they can get over the hump and win their district. Bishop Brossart has owned them over the passed years. Should be a great battle this season.

What about Newport? Aren't they considered a Class A school? If so wouldn't they have a shot at winning the 9th? I like NCC or HC as well but Newport has been playing really good ball lately. The 9th Region should be a very competitive All A tourney this year. Should be lots of fun. Good luck to all the schools.

I have watched a few volleyball games in my times but have never seen a yellow or red card in volleyball. Just curious what is the consequence if a team receives a yellow or red card?

Brossart is at Paris on Oct. 16 as well. What district/conference is Brossart in this year? I thought they would be in with Beechwood, Bellevue, Dayton and Ludlow but I do not see Beechwood on their schedule. Just curious. Congrats to Brossart on a great season so far and wish them continued success.
