On Tuesday, Haley Coffey will commit to play softball at Taylor University. Taylor is a competitive NAIA school about an hour north of Indianapolis.

 

Haley has locked down the SS position at Highlands for the last 6 years. She has hit in the high 300's the last two years and is one of the best shortstops in the state. She brings grit, leadership and determination to any lineup.

 

Haley had several offers at all different levels, but no one was able to sway her away from Taylor. She fell in love with the university and head coach.

 

Haley plays summer ball with Cincy Static 98. They are in the top 5 in the country in ASA. She plays SS for them and hits leadoff or in the two hole for that team.

 

Haley is very excited about her new challenge!

Can't wait to see her at the "Silent Night" game.
