My daughter pitches and we have mandated she wear it from day one. If you can protect a part of the body and it doesn't hinder performance then why not use it. To me it makes no sense not to wear it. Well Coach JimBob from ToughGuy College doesn't look kindly on pitchers who wear masks....well then I guess my daughter can scratch ToughGuy College off her list.

Freedom Fogt was not let go from Holy Cross. She left on her own accord. In this case...I can say this with all honesty its not the AD. The strings are being pulled from a different entity. One that their leather ball takes funny bounces when it hits the ground unlike the yellow round ball we use.

Split the season. Play mostly non-district/conference games in the fall. Maybe 15-20 games August thru end of Sept. Then start back up after April 1 with district matchups and other regional games up thru the end of May. Another 15-20 games. Then proceed with postseason as you normally would.
