I tend to agree with this. Only for this reason i do think Coach Carr Gets the best out of his players but however the pressing run and gun style i believe has helped them win some big games but caused them to lose to teams they have no business losing to. As a coach you are dealt a deck of cards and sometimes as a coach you have to adjust to what hand your dealt. Coach Carr has one style and no i dont believe it has changed at all. His personality has changed a little but style has remained the same. I believe not changing up schemes and styles has made the program inconsistant over the years. I really believe they have had the talent there to win the region a few times but sometimes coaches must adjust to players not players adjusting to coaches styles. If i have two post players and strong guards with not much speed i am not going to be a pressing and running team. Works the opposite way if i have 4 guards and 1 undersized post player im not looking to rest in a half court game. Would love to see the Eagles win it they have the talent there.

Awesome!!! Congrats coach Trame and Staff. This one goes out to all the Eagles and Josh Castleman. " Uh oh whats that coming ITS A SHARK !!!!!!!!. It takes a team to win any kind of championship. They have had a all guys contribute throughout the post season. Their bench has been fantastic and while they dont have anyone burning the mit up at 85 MPH they just hang in believe and do their jobs. State time see ya Monday night

Scott has a lot of momentum right now. Wouldn't shock me to see them in the final game Wednesday.

This is great!!! Love that these kids are finally getting some recognition. Seen them play in the past with the Schoonver brothers who are terrific basketball players. They played at NKU this past summer and was impressed with the group they had there. I was wondering where Daniel Helton had transferred too and found him on this roster. He had a highlight tape looks impressive.

Josh is very open about the fact that he wants to continue playing football and baseball in college.

Saw Grant this summer. They look really good. They have some tough kids. I felt like they were moving the ball really well compared to times past. I think they will be better than what most feel.

Ok Cool so this a church based organization. I know there is a KCAA inside of the state of Kentucky and I was wondering if they were affiliated with it or not. KCAAONLINE.com Never heard of Fox Creek though or Galien Christian. I think its neat to read about indy basketball programs like this.

Who are some of the schools these teams play? Are they in home school leagues or private school leagues

Honestly though everyone Scott has lost to schools like Newport and Holmes alot so regardless of the schedule they are beating teams badly that have knocked them off in the past. Scott is notorious for 2-8 and 3-7 seasons where they have got drilled by Highlands and Cov Cath and lost one point games to Grant Co and Holmes. So to me the schedule part is irrelevant. They have a talented football team this year. Enjoy the 4-0 Start. Everyone get on board. :thumb:

Ryle, Holy Cross, Simon Kenton, Cov Cath, Grant CO, Campbell Co, Middletown, Ross, Shledon Clark, New Richmond, Turpin, Christian Academy, Little Miami, Community Christian,Turpin, CHCA, and a couple JV Teams.

Calvary lost alot of guys they only had about 10 varsity players last year and their JV consisted of a couple freshmen and middle school kids. Really hope this program will be able to grow and compete

They aren't looking for someone to field the ball Trame has hit over 300 since being put into the starting lineup. This is why he is there and has remained. The team has struggled offensively and he has given them a spark. Outside of Wells hes the next option and with him hitting i doubt he gets pulled.

What a game on a Friday night. Jake Ohmer was unreal in the field. Its going to be interesting to see if he ends up playing college basketball or baseball in the future. He is very talented. Walker Terry for Scott and the Pitcher from Beechwood were terrific. Beechwood got their first hit in the 5th inning and with two outs they get a two run double on the hardest hit ball of the night. One error in the entire game. This was a flawless game. Scott in the Top of the 5th had two on and left them there. In the 6th they had a runner on third with one out they didnt get the run in. Awesome game. Congrats Beechwood they are a very solid team.

Although i feel your accurate in stating that Beechwood may have the best JV team. I think its unfair to make that assumption based on how well they played against Highlands. Scott beat Highlands 8-4 Two weeks ago and split with Beechwood in the regular season. I think this will be a very competitive game. Ryle still IMHO is still the team to beat. Although i really do like Beechwood a lot.

Cov Cath's 3 hitter hit a Two run Double in the fifth to cut the lead in half. They added one run in the 7th and had the bases loaded with two outs and they flew out to center with the tying run on second base. Entertaining Game and a great crowd.
