My manager from work is in that photo. I had no idea his boy played for CCA.

Congratulations to Tyler Turner and Daniel Helton for making 1st Team and Austion Hensley for making 3rd Team KCAA All State Teams.

 

Special congratulations to Tyler for being named KCAA Player of the Year.

They have a good program up there and have been a stalwart in KCAA basketball the past few years. Although we haven't played them, we have played a lot of the same teams, such as Somerset Christian and Holy Angels...HA we also beat this year and split with Somerset last year. They play some good basketball and I have no doubt could more than compete with some of the smaller public schools in the NKY area.

Basically. Though not all the schools offer all the sports. For instance, not all the schools might have a varsity boys basketball team. And some that do, like CAL, can't play in the season ending tournament because they allow home school kids to participate on their teams.

They did last year...will they this year I don't know. Baseball is one of the sports that's hit and miss for a lot of the schools. A school might have a team for 2 or 3 years, then not have enough players to field one the next couple of years.

Yes they will have a team. Most of the basketball team will be playing this year.

This is great!!! Love that these kids are finally getting some recognition. Seen them play in the past with the Schoonver brothers who are terrific basketball players. They played at NKU this past summer and was impressed with the group they had there. I was wondering where Daniel Helton had transferred too and found him on this roster.

He had a highlight tape looks impressive.
