Basketball season for 2013/2014 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Walton-Verona? Remember, please be constructive.

Good luck Coach Brannen.

Thought Helton left for Community Christian. He made the Jr. state all star team tryouts last year. Nice player.

It's going to be a long year for the Bearcats.

Can Walton knock off Grant and possibly still get to the region? Absolutely. Wtown is still building and will probably not be a threat to win a district game. Grant has a new coach as well and will be missing its top 2 scorers from last year's team. Carr transferred and Cummins is out for the year. Walton has a chance to get the #2 seed in the district behind SK.

Grant has his work cut out for him...the cupboard appears to be bare. However, IF the WV faithful can be PATIENT, there is some talent in the pipeline. Not necessarily SK talent, but enough to compete.

Walton has no chance of beating Grant County and they may struggle to sweep Williamstown. Walton lost a lot due to transferring and their underclassmen are lacking experience. Like I said earlier, it's going to be a long year.

I won't go that far. I see Grant being wayyy down this year without Carr.

Saw Grant this summer. They look really good. They have some tough kids. I felt like they were moving the ball really well compared to times past. I think they will be better than what most feel.

Best of luck to WV this year and their new coach.

They took a big hit this year losing 2 of their best to NCC.

WV also took a big hit last season right here on BGP with lots of bashing.

No doubt still some good players at WV that are working hard at practice every day. Lots of good families and fans that want the program to succeed.

Good luck, WV. I'll be rooting for you.
