Campbell is much better than you're giving them credit for. Camels were down a starter against GRC and beat GRC if a few more shots fall late. They hold a pair of 24 point wins against NKY schools and won again last night vs. Highlands. I don't think the 10th is weak... GRC is down from previous years, that's for sure, but Josh Cook will have them ready to roll come March.

A-town is making an early statement that they belong in the contender conversation in the 10th.

even if they are a district rival, lots of good people there. Coach Letcher is right at the top of that list.

Just an FYI...it's Nicholas County, not Nicholson. Rankings look good. I know that folks in the 10th took notice of that MoCo/Cooper result.

Montgomery County standout Hayden Barrier eclipsed the 2000 point mark this week, and now sits #3 all-time in school history. Who's #1 you ask? Hayden's momma, Beth Vice, with 2685.

I just read multiple reports on Twitter that longtime Scott County Coach Billy Hicks has passed. Terrible news to start the week...prayers go out to his family, former players, and friends. Coach Hicks is the All-Time KHSAA leader in wins with 1013 over 4 schools ( Evarts, Harlan, Corbin, Scott County).

I'd have Campbell higher than 5 after that game Friday night... but that's just me. Also, you can take 9-12 and put them in any order, IMO.

A good ole good one in Claryville tonight. If the Camels get a few shots to fall late, they win this by 5 or so. Both teams with potential to be great in March.

Polar Bears kept it close for most of the 1st quarter and held an 11-7 lead. PC went on a 15-2 run over the next several minutes. A trio of Wildcats logged double digits (Luke Gregg 16, Aden Merrill 14, Hunter Cox 11). Bracken's Noah Nelson led all scorers with 17. Pendleton's pressure caused several BC turnovers. I know it's early, but this Pendleton team is exceeding expectations so far. As for things in Brooksville...it's gonna take some time.

Randy's one of he good ones...was a fountain of support when I was at LC.

Congrats to my friend, Coach Sowder. We've had a lot of conversations about him getting his shot to be a Head Coach. So happy it's starting with a W... no rest for the weary, as Herald- Leader Preseason #14 GRC comes to Claryville on Friday night.
