What schools have opted out of playing in the 2A for basketball?

Schools already play each other once or twice already.  Some schools like CovCath or Ashland probably don’t care because they want to go to the actual state tournament. 

DeSales played in the 2A tournament last year, but are not listed this year. I'm not sure why.

Warren Central bailed on it in basketball after the 2020 season.

It is on Desales schedule on the KHSAA as they are a participant. 

Take Fleming off that list they

participate. They're in section 5

Martin County is in the All "A" we won our region and made it to the elite 8 last season.

I knew I’d get some wrong on that list, my apologies.  I think a lot of the 16th Region schools opt out because they play in the EKC Tournament.  

Pendleton Co played the 1st season, but have opted out since.
