Per the Kentucky High School Basketball Encyclopedia Scott County moved to the 8th in 1966.

As for Braken County, I played against Ted Smoot. Took an elbow to the head in that game. He was a heck of a player.

It's my understanding that the entire family has moved to Walton and all four of their children are in school there. Clearly not an issue for KHSAA on this one.
