Saw this posted on KHSAA. Did Coach Sturgeon resign or was he let go? Also saw that St. Henry was hiring a new AD.

I am Surprised by this.

I wondered if the new AD made the decision or if it happened before the hire.

I hadn't heard about the head AD leaving (Jay Graue). Assistant AD Tony Harden (a really good guy and girls cross country coach) left for Brossart.

There is a new athletic director listed on website, Nick Reed. Know nothing about him. Also has Maureen Kaiser listed as new assistant athletic director.

There was, an still is, a lot of activity surrounding the St Henry Athletic program. Jobs were offered, declined, people were removed, some didn't see it coming, others were on the outside even though they thought they were on the inside....

 

Lots of movement, but lots of the same hanging around the edges....this will be curious moving forward.

I'm friends with both Paul and Todd, I would be very surprised if he resigned. I can tell you it was not for lack of preparation.
