Did you attend the Ashland/Raceland game? I'm guessing you think Fairview could beat Ashland? I'll tell you what I think. Without the injunction, that is allowing the two seniors from Huntington to play, Fairview is an average team. The individuals or group of individuals putting these rankings together during the preseason have no idea where to place Fairview. Do you know why? Fairview has no idea what they will put on the field from year to year. The sad part about all of this, is the fact that you don't even like Fairview, you just hate Raceland!!!

I actually felt sorry for Greenup. Possibly one of the worst teams I've seen play.

Didn't expect this. I expected Ashland to win, but I expected Russell to score, before the scrubs got in. I thought this was supposed to be a good year for Russell, granted, they have lost two games to what is probably the top two teams in the immediate area.

Why can't the county schools (Greenup and Boyd) field good teams? It's baffling, the schools should have plenty of athletes. Maybe I am wrong.

I saw East play Raceland in week one and the Raiders failed to put anything together, they looked flabbergasted at times. I honestly expected Fairview to run away with this one.

It was kind of what I expected, actually a lot better than I expected, for the first half anyway. Turnovers killed them, especially in the third quarter, I know of at least four in that quarter alone. I didn't agree with taking a knee to close the half, I know why he did it, but I think it kind of set the tone for the second half, the Rams came out kind of flat. All in all, it's about what I expected, I figured the Rams could probably hang with the Cats for a half, although I was hoping it would've been a bit closer. It's the second game of the season, hopefully they can build on this and continue to improve. BTW, the Cats played a good game!!

I think Ram has a reason for being a no show and it has nothing to do with Raceland losing this game.

I thought it was an excellent switch as well. I thought he looked really well playing offensive tackle.

I would say it was a close tie with the crew who called the Belfry/Garrard game, I believe three flags where picked up.

I think the QB for Pikeville is the key in this game. IMO he will give Fairview's defense fits. This game will truly test what Fairview is made of. I'm pulling for Pikeville!!

I heard Messer was throwing up at halftime and having asthma flare ups, not sure if that is the real story or not.

Great game by Pikeville. I don't think I will ever be a fan of our all or nothing defensive schemes. Our kids seemed to be out of place all night. However, I think the future looks pretty good!!

Every team makes it into the district tournament in basketball and baseball, and then on top of that the winner and runner up move on to regionals, I honestly don't see the big deal, sure, it's disheartening to some teams, but it's the mentality of our society where every kid deserves a chance. I don't know, just my two cents...

You just ramble on and on, we get it, you're upset with Ivan McGlone and the way he runs the Russell program. It's funny how Russell fans weren't complaining when Ivan brought home a state title and runner up in back to back years. The line that I put in bold font would lead me to believe you are a jaded parent or former player.
