Congrats to Pikeville on the win. The Panthers took a close football game at the half and blew us out in the 2nd half, were the better team. Pikeville, good luck in the Region final. For what it's worth I thinkthat you will win.

There was a questiion about Raceland's Connor Messer and if he was hurt/sick? Hopefully he will be o.k.. I will look foward to hearing about this one from the Raceland/bgp crew at the game

Great game by Pikeville. I don't think I will ever be a fan of our all or nothing defensive schemes. Our kids seemed to be out of place all night. However, I think the future looks pretty good!!

I heard Messer was throwing up at halftime and having asthma flare ups, not sure if that is the real story or not.

Tough, emotional loss for the Rams. Congrats to Pikeville.

Rams.... Do not hang your heads at all. I know you may not see it that way now but when you can look back at how far that you have came since the Ashland game you will see that you came through injuies, sickness, even death to a players father and another relativr of Ram passed during this season as well.

6-6 when I heard some say that you would not win over 4 at best. With all the very talented underclassmen including one of the better Freshman classes in a long, long time, maybe ever. I look to the future and see the potential for some very special football teams. Alot of teams had better be glad they got you thi season bc it jut may be a while before it happems again.

 

Seniors, Thank you for your years of football at Raceland, from JFL through yiour last varsity game tonight you were a special class. thanks as well to the Senior band members, cheerleaders for all that you have done.

Aww shoot guys was pulling for a Ram win...In life there is a season for all things. Senior Rams I hope you cherish the experiences you had playing for your school and wearing your colors proudly every Friday night. I was blessed to play college and a bit of pro ball and I can tell you my fondest memories are still of "Friday Night Lights" from High School. Kenny Chesney really hits the nail on the head in his song. Don't hang your heads, football is more than just a game...it's a micro-cosm of life...always remember and never forget the butterflies, the blood, the sweat, the tears...it will carry you through all life's challenges...my last thought to you Rams is this..

The Ram football future looks very,very good. One can never really know what kids will do but the potential for at lest the next three years is imo as good as ever.

Conrats to you and our beloved Jackets on your win last night and good luck in the rgion final. I personally want to urge all bgp/Ram fans to get bhind Williamsburg this week. CNC, yourself along with the other Jacket fans on here are a class act and what high school football shoukld be about.:thumb:

 

Getting back to our game last nnight......No one wants to win more than I do an I hate to lose, not in a good mood for quite a wihile after a loss. Having said that I will aslso acknowledge and respect the opponet and give them their due. No excuses.

I want to thank all you Ram folks from the bottom of our Jacket hearts! You all are classy, and wonderful fans. I pray sometime we get to meet face to face, share a smile or two, and enjoy a night of football...you all are always fondly remembered in our thoughts and prayers!!
