Raceland comes in with a record of 2-1 after a big win last week versus Pikeville, and Greenup County comes in with a record of 0-2 and is in danger of having their second consecutive season without a win.

I think Greenup will have trouble handling Raceland's OL/DL. Raceland will have one of the biggest and most experienced lines that Greenup will face this season. Greenup will have trouble with the run game, which will play into Raceland's strength. Greenup has had trouble with their passing game thus far this season. They will have to use the passing game to have a chance of scoring, and they will have to run the ball well to keep the powerful Raceland offense off the field. Kind of like a pick your poison type situation. Raceland has also developed a running back tandem that will be hard to contain coupled with three very fast receives. It will take a monumental effort to contain Raceland's offense.

My pick: Raceland 54 Greenup County 14

I think Raceland names the score here.

Raceland 62-0

Raceland 35-7.

Raceland goes to 3-1 with no problem

If this one is close, I'll be shocked.

Your Probley right, but that's why they play the game.

Why can't the county schools (Greenup and Boyd) field good teams? It's baffling, the schools should have plenty of athletes. Maybe I am wrong.

I can speculate on Boyd if you'd like. First, there has been a separation of athletes that stemmed back to Jody Hamilton and Roger Zornes. Both basically forbid their kids to play another sport. Next time your in Borders ask Tyler if it wasn't true and how it affected him. The program that suffered most was football. Look, for instance, at this years basketball team and tell me what a difference would be made if those kids played football.

Raceland is just the opposite. It's football all the time. Just the way it is. Always has been. And you see basketball suffer because of it.

By the way, I can see no way that Greenup wins this game.

Your Probley right, but that's why they play the game.

BTW, no disrespect intended to my alma mater...........and yes, the game is played on the field and not in the papers.

I didn't mean any either. Raceland will Probley best them by 40. But weirder things have happened
