Don't wanna beat a dead horse, but how is Raceland still ranked above fairview? Fairview put up 69 last week and that's why they had Raceland above fairview.

Why would Fairview beating a bad team by a wide margin change the rankings?

The AP poll is consistently the worst poll we see. Going back to my question above, why should Fairview's margin of victory in their last game change their position in the BGP poll? I am not saying you are wrong, I am asking your opinion. I want to understand why you think that game should have changed things. Maybe you have a good argument.

Raceland has played 1 team with a winning record, and the 1 team that was decent they got smashed by. So what's separating them, thats my question and all everybody had to say is the schedule.

On the top post, margin of victory over a bad team should have very little impact on any poll.

 

As to what's separating them, it is like most polls - Raceland started ahead of Fairview. They haven't done anything that caused them to drop enough and Fairview hasn't done anything impressive enough to cause Fairview to jump over them. Barring the unexpected, Fairview is going to have to wait till they face Raceland in a couple weeks to prove they are the better team.

 

Looking at this week's games, if both teams do what is expected, Fairview isn't going to move ahead of them in next week's poll either. Raceland needs to lose this week for Fairview to jump over them. If Raceland wins, they stay ahead of Fairview and margin of victory has little impact on that.

It's all good. I guess here in a few weeks everything I'm saying will have proof.

What has Fairview done? You keep pointing out that Raceland lost to Ashland, at least Raceland will play Ashland. Fairview dropped Phelps from their schedule this year and they replaced them with Casey County, and you want respect for Fairview? I don't see it.
