I always gave credit to Stan Steidel of Dayton and Mike Swauger of Bellevue for being the Patrons of this with the help of Fr. Heile from Latin and Frey from Holy Cross.

The all tourney teams are torture for coaches. The Indians did win the region and as others said nice year by Holmes, Highlands, Ryle, Dixie and many others. The 9th Region was pretty strong this year. Kes may be trying to motivate McClendon and the other Mayhaus girl to even amp their games up further downstate. I don't know. Certainly I bet Kes hated leaving anyone that played off of that unit. The players always seem to take these kind of awards in stride. The parents and relatives-not so much. Good Luck Holy Cross. Bring the title to Latonia!!!
