BEECHWOOD vs DANVILLE (May 04, 2014)

Congrats to Beechwood! Great job on representing NKY!!

Way to go Tigers....tougher to win than a football crown that is for certain.

Tigers on all-tournament team:

Stringer - MVP

Combs

Suchanek

Schmidt

Hamilton

Studer

A complete team effort. Congratulations boys! Well deserved.

Congrats to the Tigers!

Tip of the cap to the Admirals for making it to the finals. You guys represented yourselves and the 12th Region properly. Good luck going forward, Admirals!!!

Congrats to Beechwood…special shout out to Coach Morris. He had a huge grin on his face sporting the trophy.

Congrats Tigers!!

Congrats to the Tigers on the win, and to Danville!

Nothing like a small town. The team bus was met by a police and fire escort and traveled down Beechwood Road to the school. The school "all call" was effective as many people got the word and lined both sides of he street near the school. What a thrill for the boys.

Hats off to beechwood. Takes a great group of players and coaches to make this run. I do have one thought though. I don't get the point of the All A. What happens if Beechwood (who very easily could) wins the 9th region and goes to the state finals? Makes the the all A tourney irrelevant in my opinion.

Nice job Beechwood! Enjoy the win! However I don't agree with your comment History about it being tougher than winning a football crown. The last time I checked, Beechwood has had a pretty tough time of it lately winning football championships!

What is the point of the LIT or any other tournament?

Just think of it as a 110 team state wide tournament and don't get hung up on what it is called.

Awesome job Tigers!!! I agree that winning this is harder than winning a football championship. Baseball is such an anything can happen sport.

Congrats to Danville as well on being runner-up and for one heck of a title game.

All A is not irrelevant
