Your correct

Soccer, golf, field hockey, basketball, football, baseball, AND the education. Not trying to debate either Clyde, but I believe for the parents investment, the education their kids get ay CovCath is pretty good or they would not spend the money. Especially since most of the kids that graduate do not continue playing sports at the college level. As is in a public school. But, I will say, IMO, majority of the boys at CovCath play one sport or another.

Not exactly.

And what is Dixie looking like this year?

Why would Teegarden NOT pitch? He has excellent stuff. Am I missing something?

Thanks Clyde

So now we have the winner and loser bracket set, when is the draw? Anybody?

I first saw Tyler dunk a ball when he was in the sixth grade in an AAU gane in Florence. Two hands with ease, but he was really raw. He has come a long way over the years. I've heard that the younger Williams kid at Owen Co. is throwing down and has been for a couple years now. Carson Williams maybe? What are these kids eating these days?????

Good choice Jake. Congrats!

From talking to him and his family, he's very happy with his decision and so is his family. Even if Goose was 6'4'' with a 40'' vertical and 4.5 speed, who knows what he's decision would have been. He had walk on oppertunities at some D1 schools, most of the NAIA scchools in Ky had offered, and many DII and DIII schols were interested also. Many times walk on"s either don't get much playing time or even much of an oppertunity, and give up after one year and end up coming home or transfering. It appears that Goose is going to continue his education after Thomas More. We in the Dixie community are proud and happy for him and his decision, as we are of all the seniors in NKY this past season who have the chance to continue playing football at the next level AND continuing their education, no matter what college they chose. Good luck Goose!

He will be back with former teammate Bobby Leonard who transferred back in January from campbellsville.

Goose Cohorn has committed to Thomas More College Thoughts?

Roddy's doing a great job coaching these kids while Chevy's recovering. He actually gets his intensity from coach Don Mcfarland.

He already has.

Doesn't surprise me. I believe his uncle is Blair Keil who was Qb. there in the early 80's. Plus not far from his hometown.

And Cameron Vocke. I agree.

Goose Cohorn 80 receptions for 1121 yards in 8 games at reciever. Not bad IMO. At least for honorable mention??????????????

I like that one. Ouch! You might want to check that stat on a national high school level.

Ouch is right. He doesn't realize that Towles didn't play in most of their games after halftime. Probably the same for Sheehan. And Cohorn's stats are him only playing 8 games this year at reciever.

No Goose Cohorn or Austin Sheehan? Cohorn 2nd in the state with 80 receptions and 3rd in yards? And Sheehan could have been at the top in both catagories also. Just a little surprised.

Welcome to NKY football! Holy Cross wins by 14+

Cohorn's decision to not play this year wasn't based on playing time at all. His future is focused on getting ready for football in college. He's been busy on the college visit scene and working with a personal trainer on improving his speed and agility. Smart move in my opinion,

The US Army committee will be at Dixie on Wed. December 7th to present Zeke with his US Army ALL AMERICAN jersey! Congrats Zeke! Prove all the haters wrong!

If Dave Brossart becomes head coach at Dixie then there will be no change in the team. He is a main reason that team could never click, he is a head case and not a very positive coach. Kids don't respond well to him and I don't think the underclass men would be happy with that. Dixie needs to clean house and go a completely different direction and bring in an outside coach who can turn the program into a power house were it needs to be.

Now that's just crazy. Hey Clyde who is second behind him and with how many sacks?
