  1. With Ben Bryant deciding to transfer to Northwestern, I think that's a safe assumption that Emory will be QB1. Rumors that Florida WR transfer Xzavier Henderson will be announcing his decision to transfer to UC soon. Much needed depth to a very thin WR room. Added UK OL transfer Deondre Buford yesterday. Starting to feel a little better with what UC can do this year. Offense has always been the biggest question mark.
  2. True...but he's hearing it somewhere and if there is an 8th, Louisville makes the most sense.
  3. Only need 8 votes to dissolve the league...they currently have 7. My guess is they ask for unequal revenue sharing based on value of each program and then go from there. Florida State's AD is not happy that both them and Miami will receive a lower payout per year than UCF, once UCF gets the full payout from the Big 12 in 2025.
  4. The ACC is in a very similar position that the Big East was in when the Big East was destroyed. There's maybe 4-6 schools that have a realistic chance at being added by the B1G or SEC. Louisville, GT, Wake, Va Tech, and Pitt aren't apart of that group. Probably a good argument that NC State and Duke aren't either. If B1G expands, Notre Dame is at the top of their list followed by Oregon and Washington. Best case scenario for the ACC leftovers would be the Big 12 expanding East instead of West.
  5. They could win anywhere between 4-8 games and I wouldn't be surprised. Defense should be really good again this year with what they return but with so many question marks on offense, I'm in "wait and see" mode. They got a favorable schedule not getting any team that finished at the top of the conference last year.
  6. The University of Cincinnati Athletics Department and the UC Foundation are set to break ground on a multi-million-dollar Indoor Practice Facility and Performance Center on May 23. The project, spearheaded by a record-breaking donation from Larry and Rhonda Sheakley, aims to enhance the student-athlete experience. The 84,000-square-foot facility, to be completed by the 2024 football season, will feature a 120-yard football field and be used by other UC programs. The 96,000-square-foot Performance Center, scheduled to open before the 2025 football season, will include offices, nutrition stations, a dining hall, weight room, training room, and mental health services. Over $88 million has been raised for the Day One Ready Campaign, which funds this project and others. Gensler and MSA Sport are the project's architects, and Messer Construction is the construction manager. Indoor Practice Facility Details
  7. He gets more pub because of his name but having seen Bronny multiple times over the past couple years, he would be recruited at a high level regardless of name. He has shown a lot of improvement with his all around game over the past year and is a legit top 50 kid.
  8. He hasn't officially entered the portal yet. That's probably why it's not being reported. Guess we will see what happens the rest of the week.
  9. Mixed reviews so far from different fan bases.
  10. According to multiple reports, the Big 12 is set to begin playing basketball games in Mexico during the 2024-25 season, and football games in 2025. Big 12’s preference would be to begin the games with a men’s hoops matchup between Kansas and Houston, according to Sports Illustrated. Commissioner Brett Yormark was in Mexico last week and met with officials and toured potential sites, including CDMX Arena in Mexico City (capacity 22,000) for basketball. Football games would be played in Monterrey at Estadio BBVA (capacity 53,000). Interesting idea and concept to continue to grow the B12 brand. Yormark is also doing league youth summer basketball clinics at Rucker Park. B12 to Mexico Beginning 2024-2025
  11. Will consist of the six highest-ranked conference champions and the six highest-ranked at-large teams as chosen by the CFP selection committee. The top four conference champions will be seeded Nos. 1 through 4 and receive first-round byes. The remaining teams will play first-round games on the campus of the better seeds. In 2024, those first-round games will take place on Friday, Dec. 20 and Saturday, Dec. 21. One game will be played on Friday night with the other three taking place on Saturday — one in the early afternoon, one in the late afternoon and another in the evening. Moving ahead, the quarterfinals will be played at bowl sites on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. The Fiesta Bowl will be played at night on New Year’s Eve (a Tuesday) with the Peach Bowl, Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl all being played on New Year’s Day (Wednesday). From there, the semifinals will be played at the Orange Bowl and Cotton Bowl on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025 and Friday, Jan. 10, 2025. The CFP title game will then be held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Monday, Jan. 20.
  12. The most encouraging thing for someone that follows UC is that the roster has improved each year. He needed 2 or 3 top of the roster guys with what he lost and I think that was accomplished with Fredrick and Lukosius. Reynolds is also a very good offensive big man in the pick and roll. The transition to the Big 12 and new apparel deal with Jordan/Nike should help continue to elevate the program. They're in on a lot of high level 2024 kids so will be interesting to see how all that plays out.
  13. Really hard for me to believe there were 258 players available better than UC LB Ivan Pace. Unanimous 1st team All American and Defensive MVP of the Senior Bowl Ended up signing with the Vikings as UDFA. A lot of teams are going to regret passing on him.
