  1. Reports out there that the Pac 12 will expand and invite SMU and San Diego State.... Below seems to atleast confirm there's smoke to the SDSU stuff.
  2. De-committed from UC today. Tough loss as he was the highest rated kid in the class to date.
  3. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CtUvkQYJd5R/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== A few Cooper highlights there of the players mentioned, for anyone interested.
  4. "If they stay healthy" was the key part of my comment regarding Cooper. A few unknowns, but with Rondon, Andy Johnson, Jordan Hampton, the three Pouncy boys, and Isaac Brown all returning they have a solid 7 man rotation to go compete with Newport, Covcath, and Highlands. We will see how things play out come February and March.
  5. From conversations I've had, Newport has looked really good this summer with the addition of the Taft transfer PG, DJ Jackson. The biggest question mark is how they replace Quez Miller. Tay Kinney is capable of averaging 20+ a night but I'm not sure that's what Snapp wants or needs out of him for Newport to be successful this year.
  6. Cooper has plenty of talent to beat both, if they stay healthy. I like Newport's starting 5 and they have the best player in the region but Cooper is right there with them and probably has better depth top to bottom.
  7. Important recruit for Wes Miller to start the 2024 class. Tyler started his high school career at Walnut Hills and is a Cincinnati kid. Transferred to Link Academy this past season and won a national championship while playing against elite competition. Chose UC over Bama, Michigan State, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Xavier, among others. Attention now turns to top 5 big man Flory Bidunga. His Indiana Elite AAU coach is the father of current UC assistant, Drew Adams.
  8. Some highlights of Taylen v Covcath in today's scrimmage. Newport v Covcath Summer Highlights
  9. Link started in 21-22, I believe, and finished #2 in the country in their first year. Won the Geico National championship this past season over a loaded AZ Compass Prep. They have a regional and national roster, similar to Montverde....Jasper will be apart of their national roster. Link had the #8, #12, #50 , #93, and #150 rated players on their roster this past season for the 2023 class and also had Tyler McKinley, who is a top 60 big man in the 24 class.
  10. Because the BEast doesn't make anything close to what they would get being in the Big 12.
  11. I don't think Arizona State and Utah are legit options. I personally think they add Colorado/Arizona then UConn and Gonzaga as hoops only members.
  12. Most of the national pundits believe Colorado will announce their intentions to leave the Pac12 and Arizona will do the same shortly after. Their media rights talks have been a disaster and no where close to what they were were hoping to get.
  13. All signs pointing to Colorado heading back to the Big 12.
