Sayre at Covington Holy Cross Predictions/Updates

Thanks for the updates and the kind words @CardinalsFan! I'll definitely need help next week because I'm down a spotter. Tonight was difficult due to all those HC turnovers. Sayre has a lot of nice players. I'm curious to see the numbers. -

I wanted to let everyone know that there will not be a link for live stats this year from me since I needed to change my software at the last minute. I will try to provide a web page with a box score after the game if I can figure out how to make it work. I've had access to the new software since Wednesday at 3pm! 😲 Big learning curve. BGP is on my list to provide information, but I got to satisfy the coaching staff, KHSAA and the media first! -

HC has lots of new speed and a huge athletic line (with depth). They will be able to get multiple looks offensively with their rotation. Of course, they are very young and everything is a bit unknown until the games are played. -

There are only a few and I haven’t heard anything. There are several freshmen, however, who will play significant roles in the game. -

The players on the sidelines without pads were not allowed to play since their enrollment process in the school was not entirely completed. They should be added soon (as well as a couple more players too). This is HC's largest roster in a number of years. They have depth this year and the ability to rotate players in and out. -

Thomas More is where Covington Holy Cross plays their home games. It is a great arrangement for the Indians. -

Yes and Yes -
Thank you @Colonels_Wear_Blue! Holy Cross has officially joined the Turbostats family. Big one-time purchase because I am also getting a preloaded Surface Go too. Yearly subscription after should be minimal. We aren't going to fancy at the beginning, but there are a lot of features I want to explore. I hope that I can learn fast since opening night is in 9 days!

Holy Cross 27-8 over Pendleton County in two quarters of normal action. There were 2 sets of 10 plays each prior to that and another set of 10 plays with the JV afterwards.
-
Yes. HC rarely hosts scrimmages.

Covington Holy Cross scrimmages Pendleton County tonight (8/8) and Dayton on Friday night (8/11).

@Colonels_Wear_BlueIt looks like Statbroadcast is some sort of "presentation layer". It sure looks pretty and has lots of features for integration with other websites and creating a good fan experience. Unfortunately, the stat keeping software product from Statbroadcast (called Statinput) is very immature and currently is only available for tennis and beach volleyball. I still need to find another reliable stat keeping product. The Statbroadcast features list does mention a few that it integrates with - StatCrew, NCAA LiveStats, and DakStats. I will start with them. Time is short. Thanks for the tip.
