That wave went through real fast here in downtown Cincinnati. Back to being overcast and quiet at 1:45pm.

I'm currently working via Teams collaboration with some guys in Tulsa. I'm sure that they will be giving me updates too.

2024 Cincinnati Bengals Draft Discussion
nkypete replied to mcpapa's topic in National Football League (NFL)
I know it is one big party, but at 64 years old, I don't understand why anybody would want to stand for hours at a time at the NFL Draft just to hear 3 or 4 players mentioned for their team. I had my ESPN app and I was able to follow the progress of the draft pretty well and I turned on the TV whenever the Bengals got close to a pick. I was able to get a lot done at home while still staying aware of what was going on. -

I am impressed with how much De La Cruz is going the opposite way (and with power). -

As long as she doesn't say "go get something and keep going until I tell you to stop", you're ok.

Good to keep Trout relatively quiet in this series.

UConn 75 Purdue 60 (NCAA Championship)

How did anyone beat UConn this year? Creighton beat them by 19 on Feb 20. Obviously, a great team, but not invincible. -
I don't think much of him as an individual, but 32 was a pretty good RB in his day.

Two bobblehead giveaways should help the crowd even with the cooler weather.

Our favorite location is the Ft. Wright one on 3L by Walmart. The staff is kind and very hard working, but I feel like they are in a losing battle because of the low amount of customers. I like the salad bar and breakfast buffets, but the dinner buffet is horrible. If the prepared food (like pasta and sauce) is sitting there for any length of time, it gets very stale, looks terrible and tastes gross. When I go in the evening, I stick to my old favorites like the fish sandwich and chili.

I need Purdue to win 2 more games to capture the top spot in a big work office pool. I could use the winnings for my vacation. Hopefully, both UConn and Purdue get to the finals and the UConn bus breaks done on the way to the arena. Oh, by the way, I didn't have time to fill out a bracket myself. I used an online randomizer to make my picks. I sure want to win and drop that fact on my co-workers! That could be as much fun as getting the $300. Well, almost.

Didn't I see that sonar picked up submerged vehicles too? Have they started recovery yet?

Maybe Cal should have made a phone call to the Norse to see how to beat Oakland. -

It looks like the Vols are the only team holding up the honor of the SEC today. That should make UK fans feel better. -
