I think anyone that saw the Boyle/CH game realized who was the tired team at the end of the game. It was not Boyle. Bell will not wear Boyle down this week either. Bell won't have any more size advantage against Boyle than CH had.

The ball was fumbled on the 3 yard line and rolled through the end zone. The official was right on the play and called the touchback right away. It was not a TD. The confusion came on the double penalty. I was down on the field toward that end zone where the fumble occurred. The player probably never came closer to the end zone than the 2 yard line even after the tackle.

I had to leave early. What happened in the last quarter? Boyle was having trouble containing Danville's speed up to that point.

When does Boyle Middle play again? Where?

It was a great game to watch that could have gone either way. These posts are all about fun. When it is all over we move on to the next game. CH has a fine team and we understand that they are not happy, but can redeem themselves against a good PT team. Boyle now must be ready for a good Bell Co.

Some of these kids may not have huge size, but they are not small either. When they move on to Boyle Co. High, they will be a part of an excellent weight program. You probably won't recognize these same kids in a couple of years after hitting that BCHS weight room. Remember these are middle school kids that are playing in 2 and sometimes 3 sports. You won't gain much weight in that type of situation.

There is no comparison to this Boyle team and the two teams that lost to John Hardin. This Boyle team is much better and I am sure that history will show that by the end of the season. Those John Hardin teams were very good though, probably better than this CH team.

I think you need to include this years freshmen that were undefeated last year at the Middle School.

I saw the Boyle Middle vs. North Hardin game Sat. Boyle dominated that one by a 40-6 score.

Just remember it is not always the size of the dog in the fight but, the size of the fight in the dog. This probably holds truer in football than any other sport.

I have seen 6 o'clock on the BGP scrimmage schedule, heard 6:30 from one source and saw 7 o'clock somewhere else. I say be there at 6 to be on safe side.

I would like to see Boyle and Mercer renew their rivalry. Always a fun game and just 10 miles apart. Middle school, freshmen and JV,s will still play I guess?

You may not see Boyle, PT or SW beating CH, but it would not be a huge upset for them to lose all 3of those games.

Who held back 8-10 of their best kids?

Boyle returns from camp today. The tough practices have begun. These are the times that identify the players you can really count on.

I think Garrard will be a quality opponent for any team on their schedule. I think Boyle is better and also Lexington Catholic , but you don't play the games on paper. I guarantee no one is taking them lightly.

Excuse me. I thought we were talking about this year. Are we talking about CH or now is Meade part of this discussion. What does last years Scott Co. have to do with this matchup. I am sure the Boyle players will be glad to know that they are so lightly regarded by CH, not to be "HIGHLIGHTED" on their schedule. Thanks for that bit of information.

Bad Mistake.

I believe that Boyle and Central Hardin split, with Boyle winning the first session and CH winning the 2nd in Campbellsville. If you are using 7 on 7 to predict your teams success then you probably also believe in Santa, The Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy. The best 7 on 7 team I saw last year finished with only 5 wins on the season and 3rd place in their district. Boyle and CH should be a great game to start the season with. Easter

Amen. You are right on about the 7on 7's. They mean very little in the overall picture of real team strength. One of the better 7 0n 7 teams I saw last year won only 5 games and finished 3rd in their district.

Central Hardin and Boyle should be a great game to kick-off the season. You will need a top 5 defense in this game with Boyle's offense. Believe me their defense is no slouch either.

What they are doing now is just fine. These so called mythical " state middle school state championships' don't mean a thing in the big picture. Stay within your conference and area so the parents can get there to see their kids play after they get off work.

The first listing put out by KHSAA after redistricting showed Henry in the same district with Boyle.

I found out that Henry Co. was moved to Dist. 3 in with Central, Moore etc. Makes more sense from a geographic standpoint.

What happened with Henry County? They were supposed to be in the same district with Boyle,Garrard, Lex. Cath. and Western Hills.
