Just saying they are not in the same league with Boyle and may never be again. They had their years of prominence. It's over. They don't come in and decide when they want to start playing the Rebels again . Boyle will make that decision where and when if ever!!!

This is directed to the group that wanted to add Boyle back on the Danville schedule because after playing one of the weakest schedules in the state 2 years in a row, winning a few games they can waltz back in and get back on Boyle's schedule whenever they choose. This game with LCA just shows how much you need to improve before trying to schedule out of 2A or !A which is your schedule of choice right now. The Garrard Bowl is really a good fit for the Ads. Please tell your coach or AD that scheduling Caverna, with 12 players on the team is a total embarrassment to the once proud Admiral fan base. I am only telling you the truth. Some people can't handle that.

I think some people are still looking at the Highlands debacle and judging Boyle on that game too much. Boyle is in no way the same team people saw early. They have most of their injured players back, some key additions on both sides of the ball. Playing FD at home should also be an advantage. I am giving the nod to Boyle in this one , although most are rating it as a toss up.

No, but part of the team that put 55 on the board against Danville earlier in the year. Their fastest player and the middle school 100 meter champ has not played since pre season, but has recovered from surgery and will be ready for track and looking forward to next years FB season. Their QB and several other players have been out with injuries during the year and for the Somerset game. OK .

If Boyle wins out and that means they have to beat Frederick Douglas at home their final game. then they would be the number one seed in 4A.

You have no idea what you are wishing for. You don't see players like Driver and Tavy often, but Boye has at least 5 Div 1 prospects on this years freshman team alone, then add in some good sophs and a really talented junior class with div 1 players, plus many other very good players that always develop under Haddix. Danville has a few good players and just remember those players leaving Boyle coming to play for the Ads did so because they could not start there. It is easy to get excited with wins until you really look at the quality of the teams you are beating. Shawnee, Caverna, Southern etc.

Boyle has a stretch of three games in a row where the JV and Freshmen will see more action than the varsity. The good part of this is that they should be able to heal any injuries, bumps and bruises for their stretch run in November/ December. The Rebels are starting to put it all together at the right time as we saw in the game at St. X on Friday. Nobody is looking forward to playing them from here on to the finals.

He is a great kid, great team mate and just a tough aggressive football player. Puts out 100% on every play in practice and during the games.

Not a good time to play Boyle. Ballard plays a tough schedule, but in watching practice this week, I couldn't believe how hard the Rebels were going at each other, especially in this hot weather.

Like it or not. The rest of 4A knows that they have to go thru Boyle County to win come December. They also they know that they will see a totally different team on the field from what we saw on Friday. You can go thru all the feel good scenarios you want to, but in the end it all comes down to how good you can compete against the team that has won 5 out of the last 6 years and the coach responsible.

Not only is Seneca a D1 commit, he is listed as a 5 Star recruit. He makes such a difference on both sides of the ball. Boyle will be around in December to take on the best of the rest. Boyle was missing some other key players last night as well as the QB not at full strength.

Boyle is a total different animal with Driver back on offense and defense. Then you have the other players that didn't play because of injuries, a healthy QB with this extra week off and the sting of a loss make the Rebels a very difficult opponent from here on thru the championship.

Your use of" It's safe to assume", "his body language and gestures clearly don't convey" " ,that tells me" etc. that you are trying to create a negative picture of a kid in a very competitive situation that is only a conjecture on your part. Making a judgement about a kid on the field giving 100% on every play to help while watching a silent film is not what you or anyone else should place a lot of stock in. It seems. I am not saying that he was happy with what was going on with the officials and there was some reaction ,but at no time was he trying to play fast and loose with the rules. Telling the truth is not being defensive. Not agreeing with misguided optimism about beating 2 opponents that wouldn't rank in the top 75 in the state would not be a recipe for being a worthy opponent for Boyle ever again even if you don't consider the RPI. You made your bed, now lie in it. Caverna? How low can you go?

Sorry to tell you Ads fans this but the rumor came from Pulaski County about Stoney applying for the job at Southwest. Then the idea that there is or will be any pressure from Boyle fans to include Danville on a future schedule does not make any sense. You are a 2A school and will always be unless you go to 1A. Even if you could be competitive against Boyle, which you are not even close, the RPI situation would keep the Rebels from adding Danville to the schedule. You need to try and compete in your district first. You can be competitive at the level you are in, especially playing one of the weakest schedule in 2A. I watched your game against KC and I have never seen a worst effort on defense by 2 teams ever. Boyle would put up 100 pts. against either one of you in a full 48 minute game if they wanted to. Wait until you play someone good before you drink any more of your own cool aid. You still have Caverna and their 14 players on your schedule, maybe, if they haven't cancelled their season, to try and set some kind of new record. As for Stoney being a great coach, I think he is doing a good job, but you have to win something big to be labeled as great. Winning a district would be a start.

A few light years. Boyle is presently ranked 2nd or 3rd in the state over all and plays one of the toughest schedules in the state. With RPI being so important come playoff time, Playing 2A Danville makes no sense. Just because you can run up the score on a couple of the weakest teams in the state, with Caverna , a team with14 players at last count still on the schedule you want to think you can play with Boyle Not going to happen. Before Danville opted out the game had become really one sided and You had maybe a dozen fans following the Ads across town and most of those left at half. I think you need to concentrate on trying to win a district, more in your possible future right now. As far as fans wanting the game back. Danville maybe, Boyle fans don't even see the Ads as being relevant in the state football picture anymore and very few as a real rivalry game. As far as Stoney being at Danville for a few years there was a rumor he applied for the Southwest job this spring?
