Fort Knox 35 Hart County 18
I hope so as well but even more than that I hope that these wins can somehow put pressure on the powers that be at the school to change the climate around FK athletics!

There is no doubt that the military personel want the FK football program to be successful. Once inside the school there is no doubt that the school administration could care less if the football program is successful or not! The FK athletic programs need a complete overhaul and I am not talking from a coaching standpoint. They have coaches they just need to support their coaches and anyone who has ever been affiliated with FK athletics over the last few years knows exactly where it needs to start!

Confidence is a scary thing. The kids at Knox are excited, and congrats to the entire coaching staff for staying the course. The team and staff has overcome a lot and everyone knew that just get that first one and end all the talk of the streak and things would start to turn. Hopefully they can get the community and more importantly the administration behind not only football but all Knox athletics!

You are the one that brought up using a JV quarterback, I was only stating that WC started a freshman QB. WC won the game versus BG just as Trinity did I don't really see what there is to discuss.

I don't think that holds much water! WC used a FRESHMAN QB for the entire game and also played at BG. If I am not mistaken didn't the T/BG game take place in Louisville?

Mercer County 35 Lincoln County 9
Yes if Lincoln beats SL there will be a 3 way tie for third. In that case SL would get third and then head to head between the remaining teams (LC & MC) settles fourth. So I don't think there is any scenario that would allow LC to make playoffs.

Boyle County/Mercer County Predictions
Mercer will be fine this year and the coming years. I still think they will have a say in the district race this year. Their non district schedule has been tough and as long as the kids keep working and stay positive they could very well win their district. Their young kids are gaining valuable experience playing the teams they are playing that will do nothing but make them better down the line!

Nelson County/Warren Central Predictions
I am sure that Coach Rogers appreciates the fact that NC won't let the game get too ugly due to their friendship. So I guess you are saying that if the game is close or heaven forbid WC wins it won't have anything to do with WC's play.

Fort Campbell/Fort Knox Predictions
The easiest thing to do is blame the coach. However anyone that has any knowledge of FK athletics in general know there are 2 variables that have coincided with the demise of Fort Knox athletics and until they are addressed all programs will continue to flounder. There are reasons why they can't keep coaches. The people in charge at FK (not the military) aren't worried about success they are worried about making sure a parent doesn't complain. One other point the military personel are extremely supportive of all the athletic programs. The coaches and military personel are trying hard to change the culture but it is a constant tug of war and they are continuously are running into roadblock.

Breathitt County 58 Mercer County 24
Fugate gets alot of attention but the QB is pretty dang solid as well he makes the offense go. He is one heck of a tackler as well he never misses tackles.

Breathitt County/Mercer County Predictions
Stop Fugate? Has anyone stopped him?

Mercer County/Danville Scrimmage
Sorry typo Danville 21-14!
-
Mercer County/Danville Scrimmage
I believe it was 21-7 after 2 qtrs., with Danville having a TD called back on a hold. Then Mercer scored once in the 3rd qtr and also had one called back due to a hold as well. I believe the final was 21-14 Mercer. It was a pretty balanced scrimmage I would think that both teams got a lot out of the match up.

2009 John Hardin
5-6? 6-5? That is crazy........JH is loaded and I fully anticipate them making a strong push toward BG. You talk about their loss at LB but word on the street is they had a stud RB transfer in from Alabama.
