Second game from the Forcht Bank Bowl at Campbellsville

How many yards did Fugate end up with? Did he have 5tds?

208 rushing to go with a kickoff and punt return for TD

Thanks.

Nice win over a pretty good Mercer team.

Nice start to a Mr. Football campaign for Fuggate!

The Vols are going to love this kid! IMO he will be a fullback for the Vols! Looks alot like the one that played for the 49rs years ago .

Who in their right mind would ever kick to this guy?

Fugate is a heck of a player. He's a threat to score every time he touches the ball. Haddix is also a good ball player.

Breathitt executed well. When Fugate didn't have the ball, they did a very good of using him as a decoy to make the rest of the offense more effective. There were a couple of screen plays that were executed to perfection.

Mercer is very young, but very game, they never quit, and they were a better team at the end of the game than they were when they walked on the field. If they can survive their schedule, they will be a pretty good team at the end of the season.

I listened to the game on the radio. I wasn't very impressed with Mercer at all. I have watched Mercer the last couple of years and I go the same impression. A great start for Fugate.

I wouldn't say pretty good right now, but they will get better each game and as the season goes along.

Good start to the season for Breathitt County. You never know what to expect from that season opener. Fugate is a monster.

Haddix was 5/8 with 3 TD's...all to Josh Fletcher. Hope they can build on that because it will add another dimension to the offense. The Bobcats also start 3 freshmen on defense, so hopefully those guys and that unit will make some big improvements by season's end.

Sheldon Clark next week should be an interesting matchup.

I thought that Breathitt looked pretty good for the 1st game of the season. I have never seen a guy the size of Channing run away from defenses like he does. He made some cuts that was unbeleivable last night. This team has the potential to be really good as the season progresses and they get some expereience under their belt.

What kind of speed does Fugatte have, I'm sure Tenn. must have timed him?

When Mercer won the toss and deffered at opening kick-off I said "that's crazy to give Breathitt the ball when you don't have to?" Then when they kicked to Fugate it seemed clear...one bad decision often leads to another.
