  1. It is so hard to beat a team three times in a single season. Especially one as dangerous as Ryle. In addition Ryle will be on their home court. I am going with the Raiders by 5 points.
  2. I would have thought Scott could have shot them out of a zone early. Smith at Scott has to be one of the best shooters in NKY. IMO.
  3. Dixie definately misses Trammel. This would take the ball handling duties from Hatton and allow him to do what he does best.
  4. I have to agree with you. Giesler should have a great game. I am taking NCC by 8 - 10 also.
  5. I have heard that this game will not be rescheduled and Conner will now play Siver Grove in it's place. Can anyone confirm this?
  6. I don't think you are giving Flesch at Conner enough credit. Defensively, I have personally seen him give fits to several players who have been bigger and athletic. He will definately be a huge contributor in this game. That aside, I still see Holmes pulling out a double digit win. Conner doesn't have the bench to play 4 quarters with Holmes.
  7. Anyone have an idea waht the matchup will look like in this game? Thelan/ Arlinghaus????
  8. 7 - Villa 5 - Bourbon County 3 - Brossart 2 - Conner 1 - Augusta TB = Villa
  9. I'm going with the Cougars in a really close one. Two very evenly matched teams. The game comes down to guard play. Can the Cougars stop Smith and can Lang continue the hot streak.
  10. The Stauffer and Pike matchup should be interesting. I think if Ryle get solid play from Coleman and McLeish to go with Stauffer then they take it by 3 or 4.
  11. I have got to take NCC in this one by double digits. I think Giesler will be unstoppable.
  12. Conner 68, Highlands 55 Highlands (10-7) - Lother 4 0 9, Grote 2 0 5, Kowoloneck 5 2 13, Smith-Keller 2 0 6, Watson 4 3 11, Stewart 5 1 11. Totals 22 6 55. Conner (12-9) - Lang 7 5 22, Stephens 2 1 5, Miller 1 0 2, Liechty 3 0 6, Flesch 2 8 12, Robinson 7 1 15, Hodges 2 2 6. Totals 24 17 68. Highlands 13 8 17 17 -55 Conner 17 13 20 18 -68 3-pointers: H 5 (Smith-Keller 2, Lother, Grote Kowolonek); C 3 (Lang 2).
  13. Agreed. This is how I would handle the situation.
  14. From looking at the box score, it looks like Boone had a pretty even inside and outside scoring. Considering Montgomery as a perimeter player, scoring was 29 - 32 in favor of the bigs. Conner was all about the guard play. Their scoring was 47 - 12 in favor of the perimeter guys. 12 points combined for Hodges and Robinson is not going to beat the good teams. Congrats to Boone for locking up the 33rd.
  15. The 33rd. could possibly look identical to last year with Ryle and Boone advancing.
  16. I always thought AAU rules required players to be from the same state. Can someone fill me in on how players from other countries play AAU on an Indiana team?
  17. Thanks for the clarification. Good luck to all of your teams.
  18. I'm just curious. Is the Derek Smith team from last year coming as a unit or will it be a compilation with the Pittman team. The Shining Star Pittman team was pretty good in itself last year. What happens to this team if the top guys are removed? This must be a horrible scenario for the Shining Star guys. What do I do with all these superstars? LOL.
  19. IMO I don't think Coach Carr is successful at Holmes. His temperment doesn't fit. I think it takes a special coach to coach there.
  20. 7 North Laurel 5 Dixie 3 Highlands 2 Mason County 1 Conner TB = Highlands
