  1. I think others were confused as well. There wasn't a bracket hanging up for the U17. I know that Shining Star had several teams in the tournament at the U17 age level. If you look at the website, there are multiple teams listed as Price, but they do have colors associated with them as well. I think it would have been alot easier to follow if the brackets had been up.
  2. I have also seen that Club Ohio is hosting a tournament this weekend. Why so many tournaments this weekend in greater cincinnati. I think it dilutes the talent level.
  3. I checked out their website. I didn't really recognize any of the players.
  4. I was reading the schedules for the AAU qualifier this weekend and I saw the NKY Rhinos listed in the U17 pool. Does anyone know who these guys are?
  5. I just saw the schedules were posted for the Cincinnati Bearcat Classic. anyone have any thoughts on this tournament?
  6. Good to hear the local boys are playing well. I truely love this time of year. I know it has it's critics, but I am a huge fan of the AAU ball. Where else can you see so much talent on one court game after game. Good luck to everyone next weekend.
  7. Good luck to you. Looks like alot of NKY boys.
  8. Has anyone heard anything about the new Hoops Elite teams in Louisville?
  9. Was Jordan with the DSAS team at the KBA this past weekend?
  10. Is he still with DSAS and who is playing for this team?
  11. So many people are saying things like walk on, role player, or sitting the bench at D1 schools. IMO these are not terrible options and may or may not be choices that a player makes based on their preference. If the opportunity arises I think the individual will handle that call, but just because a player isn't going to be a stud at a high major doesn't mean that they do not have D1 potential at some level. Maybe a player choses to be a stud at a DII school versus sitting the bench at a DI, but the potential was still there and that was his call to make. Someone will take the DI spot and sit the bench. You can believe that.
  12. I like Hodges' chances at playing D1. He will have to work for it and really want it, but the opportunity should be there. He is blessed with great height and freakishly long arms. Whether or not he puts the time in the gym and refines his skills this summer will dictate how far he goes, but I still believe he has the best opportunity.
  13. Sounds like a strong lineup. I am guessing the Seneca kids are Stone and Fluellen. They were good when they played for the Louisville Lakers. This team will miss Gilbert, but they look to have reloaded nicely. Good luck.
  14. IMO. The highest ceiling in NKY has to be Hodges. He has height and athleticism that is sought after at the D1 level. Word is he may end up being 6'10" and has the potential to be an excellent wing player. He does need to hit the weights. His numbers would be slightly different if he were not utilized as a center on his high school team. He doesn't have the strength to be a center at any level. If he has a good summer and developes physically, he will attract alot of attention.
  15. Does anyone know if the Charlotte Court and Lexington Ice will be fielding teams this year? They are always tough. I have also heard that Hoops in Louisville is putting together an elite program.
  16. The all time best is "All Along the Watchtower" Hendrix was better than the original.
  17. McLeish was in a zone tonight. The kid could not miss. Congratulations to the Raiders.
  18. The conner offense appeared stagnant and very timid. With the exception of Flesch driving the lane, they had nothing inside or out. I credit Ryle with making defensive adjustments in the second half. They doubled and tripled down on Flesch when he went into the lane. Conner failed to make offense adjustments and therefore allowed Ryle to pull away. Stauffer and Vollett owned this game in the paint. Ryle played a great game IMO. They let Conner set the tempo and then beat them at it.
  19. I figured Conner would struggle in this one. Ryle has been playing really well lately and Conner has been inconsistent. Conner had already beaten Ryle twice in come from behind games this season. In addition to it being on Ryle's floor, Ryle actually did Senior night honors also. I think the chips were stacked against the Cougars. And they didn't help themselves either. This game was painfull to watch.
  20. If everyone stays put, Dixie has a legitimate shot next year.
