I saw a close one today between IN Elite One and Team Takeover from Canada. Team Takeover one by two at the buzzer. It was a good game. Shining Stars Pittman put a hurt on Legion???? in the gold bracket. I also saw that NKY Bulldogs were up by ten or eleven over Club Ohio when I left.

Happened to see that the Derek Smith All-Stars made it into the tournament. How does that work? Also happend to catch the end of their game this mornin. They lost to the NKY Bulldogs. Who plays for them?

It looks to be good for the KY teams in the U16. We have a definate Ky winner in the silver with Shining Stars or the Charlotte Court. I am pulling for the ICE in the gold and Derek Smith is still active in the platinum.

Oh I agree 100%, but I don't think the promoters of this tournament are too interested in Grampa and Grandma watching the games. This generaly only applies to the local teams anyway.

I caught a glimpse of the first release of the schedule today. I saw quite a few KY teams listed. Some I have heard of and some I have not. Anyone going? Anyone care to discuss?

I have been in and around the AAU circuit for many years. I have seen good and bad coaches, but the one item that remains constant is the level of talent. Players that play AAU have more opportunity than players who do not.

I have seen both Barksdale and Fucci play several times over the years and I would have to agree with you. Don't get me wrong Creek suffers if they loose either player, but Mr. Fucci is a man among boys on floor. His basketbal IQ and court vision are off the charts. Couple this with his tremendous athletic abilty and you have a player that can take over every game he plays in. I have always been a Lexington ICE fan and I really enjoy watching this kid play.

I agree. By fining her an amount that at least has a chance to be paid would be scarier to others if that was their mission. This woman actually commented that she wasn't worried because she was never going to pay it anyway.

This is the first I have heard of Avery possibly being at Holmes, although it does not surprise me. IMO, this is a wise decision on his part if he does leave. The amount of exposure he will get playing with the Holmes group would most likely triple his chances at picking up a scholly. Holmes garners a tremendous amount of attention. No offense to the Conner team, but I have to feel like you are going to see Holmes down in Lexington again this year.

I will have to agree with you. Although Dixie will look better this year, I don't expect to see them winning consistantly until next year. The 9th. region should be very strong, and I just don't think the Colonels will be deep enough yet.
