Ladies and Gentlemen, the time has come. Congrats to Elisha Justice and the entire Shelby Valley team, but it's time for Kentucky summer AAU ball. From what I have heard, there have been some major changes this year in regards to teams, players and tournaments.

 

Anyone know of any big names changing teams?

 

What about teams going away, or new teams coming forth?

 

I heard the Eddie Ford Grassroots Shootout is no more. Sad. That was a good tournament IMO.

How can I get a couple of kids on a summer team?

Kevin Bundy will be coaching an all new 15U Shining Stars team in NKY this summer. Some very athletic kids have joined this team and will be a force to contend with.

It looks like Mr. Ford may be moving operations to Tennessee. He is still organizing the KY Hoopfest though. A very nice tournament in July.

The big change was the entire DSAS 16U team (now 17U) and coaching staff switching to Shining Stars.

Does anyone know if the Charlotte Court and Lexington Ice will be fielding teams this year? They are always tough. I have also heard that Hoops in Louisville is putting together an elite program.
