My understanding was he fouled a ball off of his leg (maybe his shin or knee) and was taken out of the game. I don't think Luke needed a rest when they only have 2 games this week :confused: :idunno:

It's definitely much tougher for private school's to afford things like lights when they have to pretty much find a donation or fund it themselves. St. Henry is very lucky to have the field that they have. Scott and Campbell Co. do, but they are 10th region. I don't know why teams like Ryle, Conner, and Boone don't have lighting.

I don't believe any of it honestly. I think even if Roenker has a sore ankle, he'll still go, or at least give it a try and make a decision from there. There is no way he makes a decision 3 days ahead when a slight sprain might only take 3 or 4 days to get over. As for Smith, I definitely don't believe any of that.

Etscheid has had the help of some fantastic defense. He keeps the ball down and makes his defense make plays. That's why he is successful.

I did. I also asked him about it after a game a couple weeks ago and he said no but he has talked to them.

Can you believe he's not even getting many looks from colleges? I'd say he's a top 20 or 30 hitter in Kentucky.

The player shouldn't have been awarded a triple. There should have been 3 runs scored because by the time the left fielder threw his arms up, he was 20 feet from where the ball rolled out and the runner from first was just rounding third. No possible chance of him being thrown out. Isn't it legal for an umpire to take control and say the run would have scored anyways?

Out of the Districts? I'll take CovCath for sure and not sure about the HC/BW game but I'll take HC from the 35th.

A lot has to do with that building in right field. Without it I'm guessing another 20-30 minutes of light would come from the building not blocking the sun.

After reading TGG's post, Connor puts up better Batting Average (and 1 more hit and 1` more run) and that's it. While comparing just those two it has to go to Isler.

I haven't seen Fidanza but I don't think you can get much better than Maile at the high school level. He's nearly flawless with his blocking schemes and has an absolute cannon. Maybe they're about even but I don't think he can be better.
