  1. Agreed. Not a good game for the beginning of the lineup but that's what the middle and end is for.
  2. Neither Isler nor Nutini threw this weekend. I believe Isler will go all 7 but if he only went 5 or 6, Nutini would be able to come in a close or throw a couple innings. Also, RD and Schlagbaum, the two best relievers CCH has, didn't throw at all this weekend either. What an advantage it is for a team to have your starting pitchers hurl 6 or 7 complete games in a row.
  3. Krumps is the man. :notworthy:
  4. I didn't say Connor was a bad player by any means. I'd love him IN the CCH lineup. For me, I do think he is the best defensive 2nd basemen, and one of the top 5 pitchers in NKY, but my honest opinion is he hasn't impressed me in the batter's box. You have your opinion, that is mine.
  5. Will the rain stay away for this one?
  6. On the mound he is solid but doesn't impress me much in the batter's box. :idunno:
  7. Who else is in this district? And what are the matchups?
  8. Sorry about that just a little mix up. Did anyone hear today that the Reds PA announcer, the one who announces the batters, positions, etc. will maybe be doing CovCaths senior day? He's a CCH grad. That'd be pretty cool. :thumb:
  9. 175 is too little for him being 6''2 or 6''3 you're right, but I won't go as high as 200. He will admit himself he hasn't lifted a weight more than a few times in his life. He isn't a rail but he is a thin kid.
  10. After the first inning shake up Nutini was dealing.
  11. They also have Bellevue and Dixie at home, along with the Conner classic.
  12. CovCath plays Boone on the 16th at home TOG.
  13. And Grizzly Adams had a beard. How can you be so sure when I'm so sure?
  14. Wow. Nice win for LCA.
  15. :thumb: I don't want to take anything away from RD's hot start, but Luke started off slower than usual and as of lately has come back to where he's been in the past. I have a feeling RD and Luke will have nearly identical stats at the end of the year, exceptions being RD with more RBI's and Luke a few HR's ahead of RD.
  16. Will be a fantastic game.
  17. Maile and Darner would only be about 50 pounds heavier, maybe. Maile's a stick if you actually take a good look at him. No more that 175.
  18. Is that the date of districts or what?
  19. Maybe because Darner is having a better season as of now? And maybe some people have their opinions about other good players in the running. :idunno:
  20. Not sure but right now the leader has to be Ryan Darner for CovCath. He has 49 RBI's and 5 home runs I think in 25 games. Luke has some nice stats too but Ryan's RBI's and mid .500 average are what puts him ahead of Luke. Then Isler is putting up some ridiculous pitching stats. This is going to be tough.
