CovCath seems to have their field ready to go despite rain a lot of the time. Maybe they could move it to CCH?

The pitch hit him and literally bounced into the zone. There is no way it was in the strike zone originally because it hit him in the triceps area. If the catcher drops that ball its a clear HBP but somehow it went right in the mit.

St. X played just well enough to beat Apollo and CovCath I didn't think they were by far the best team in the LIT by any means but props for getting the job done. New outlook on the rankings in KY. Looks like Apollo winning 1 of 3 will probably drop a few spots and the same with Lex. Christian.

With CovCath beating Lex Christian and Apollo they should be higher next week. This is going to be a fun post season:popcorn:

Colonels got down but started pounding the ball in the 4th. Isler hit well for CovCath. Maile didn't see much to hit.

The 2 double plays are what killed CovCath in this one. Maybe a hit here or a hit there, CCH comes out on top. Plenty of opportunities that went to waste.

As a whole lineup I will disagree. The top 5 of that lineup, though, is stacked. Lokesak, Dunaway, Cotton, etc. can hit with any team.

If one pitches on the 24th they'll for sure be ready to throw a good 4 or 5 at the least by that Tuesday. I wouldn't worry about it but whoever throws on the 24th will be the guy on the hill for the seeding game.

He hasn't although there was one questionable at Dixie that a lot of people thought was out but the umpire thought it hit the fence, and not the foul pole. Other than that it's been mostly doubles and singles. He's probably sittin' somewhere in the .400 range for his season batting average. He started slow but he's something like 5 of his last 6 in the past two games.

I think the score is all dependent upon CovCath's young guys pitching today. The Colonels will score their runs against weaker pitching, but can Holy Cross score enough against CovCath's weaker pitching? I'm sure they can because of late the young guys have not contributed a lot.

I'm sure they could have thrown in SOMEONE. Maybe they didn't have any "pitchers" left, but can't you throw in one of the other 8 players that are on the field. How did Ryle give Cooper 5 runs anyways?

As for a prediction, I'll take CovCath 12-4.
