Jared Clarkson has been a leader of the Rockets offense. I think the kid has had a least one hit in every game this year. Has also helped the kids playing with him get better. So watch out for them to make a long run in the state.

Who are "the Rockets?" Crittenden County, Rockcastle County, Shelby County? Assumption girls?!:D

Seriously, I'm not familiar with the young man but a hit in every game is a nice accomplishment.

If you know the young man then you should not say anything like that. It is Shelby County and they are one of the best offensive teams in the state at this point. With Jared being such a good hitter has given everybody around him better pitches to hit.

But I didn't know the kid. And the Assumption thing was a joke.

Shelby County has a great program, but I live near Rockcastle County and they are always good so I wasn't sure.

Luke Maile CovCath, University of Kentucky. Two time POY of the Ninth Region. Luke now holds or soon will hold literally every single offensive record there is to hold at CovCath in his four years starting for Coach Krumps. He can do it all from hitting for average, power, scoring runs or knocking them in and there is no better catcher in Kentucky period. If you have seen this young man play, then you understand how good he is.

Not sure who will win the award, but in my opinion Maile is the best player in the State.

I have not seen the Maile kid but keep up with what is put on here. Sounds like to me that Maile has alot of talent around him that can hit. So he gets a lot of help. Clarkson has maybe one good hitter around him so everybody tries to pitch around him some and he may only get one really good pitch in each at bat. That is very impressive to be so young. Also heard at a gome on Saturday that his batting average is around .575 with an on base being around .750. I am sure that both kids are really good that's why both are going to D1 schools and have plenty of scout's after them.

You have no idea how many times Luke gets pitched around. I do believe he holds the record for most walks and intentional walks. Luke has produced from his freshman year and is still doing so.

Why am I defending Cov Cath players?:lol:
