Bertke pitched the 6th and gave up a lead off triple to Daniel Lokesak. Breenan Carroll knocked him in with a well hit ball down the line. Later in the Inning Luke Sciamanna hit a bomb to the fence in Left Center and two more runs scored. In the Seventh Boone gave up two walks, Two outs later Beechwood hit grounder through the legs of Boones second baseman and two runs scored. Jackson Lauman came in relief and walked a batter the got a force to second to end the game, Congrats to Logan Faehr who pitched a one hitter tonight.

My understanding that Smith was hit in the face with a line drive and was knocked unconscious. I think Smith is out for the year with a broken eye socket. I certainly hope he is fine. What a shame!! Boone was scoreless against Smith per my friend. Can anybody verify this.
