  1. The camels will be very deep next year with 5 seniors and a handful of juniors. They should look to get out and run. They don't have much size but are very fast and athletic. Look for the offense to be ran through the two returning starters Jolly and Smith. They will surprise many because they have improved alot already. Nate Mcgovney will be a tremendus player in the future, but i don't see him contributing much this year for varsity. I could be wrong, hopefully he keeps developing and we might see him in varsity games.
  2. I don't really either, but he did lead his team in assists and he is the best player in the state next year. So what ever position he plays Which could be all 5 if he has to, he will be the best at!
  3. Ricardo Johnson will be the best point guard next year if thats the position he plays. Elisha Justice is real good too.
  4. I know they originally started out with all Covington kids. Now they have to go out and get players to be able to compete with all these other programs getting kids from all over the country. I know a couple of players who played with them last year at the State AAU tournament. Aaron Cosby- Jeffersontown Sam Tolliver- Jeffersontown Have they played in a tournament yet this year. I haven't heard anything about them. Also I've been hearing Chane Bohannon might be transfering to Holmes, so do you think he might be playing AAU with the Players?
  5. I'm not sure who would be better. I think Jackson has alot of potential because he already is built like a college athlete and is a overall freak athlete. IMO right now Guyn is the better basketball player, he can pretty much do it all. I have heard in the past past that he has attitude problems but I don't know first hand.
  6. They did beat them last year? I was unaware of that, I know they have dominated them in the past. I guess everyone has bad games. my point is, theres all this talk about Derek Smith and the Shining Stars, the KY players are definitely considered a power house team in KY.
  7. He got an offer from WKU, but I don't think he commited.
  8. Those members who played for the Queen City Prophets only played at the AAU Nationals last year thats it. What do you mean they haven't done anything for them? Every tournament they go to they get recognition because team does very well. You don't have to have ADIDAS or JORDAN as sponsors to have a good team. The Shining Star Mcfarland team wasn't really a threat to the KY Players until they got some new adidtions this year. Derek Smith and Shining Star Sports do asssemble good talent from all around the state. Ky Players are all mostly from Covington.
  9. I wouldn't count out the KY Players for the 17u. They have 3 of starters from the Sweet Sixteen Championship team.
  10. They might have. There are two Indiana Elite teams. There are two seperate organizations. They actually wear close to the same colors. Both teams are always good. I know a couple of years ago. Deshaun Thomas (Ohio State Commit 2010) and Ray Mccalum Jr. played on one of the teams.
  11. I understand the OBC Adidas/The patroits is now broken up? This team was made up of Chad Jackson, Dakota Euton, Austin Flannery, Josh Sewell, Todd Mayo(O.j's younger brother), Noah Cotrill and others. I believe they got 3rd in the AAU national last year. As far as i know The Holmes players: R.Johnson, J.Johnson, Pittman, Slusher, will be playing for the KY Players. They just went to AAU nationals last year with the Queen City Prophets.
  12. According to this link: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://fieldsnotes.bloginky.com/ They are also going to be in the Mason County Classic.
  13. Some changes I would make: Jermiah Johson should be atleast in the top 12. Aaron Cosby should be in the top 5. I would take Euton out of the top 12 and replace him with Aaron Watts or Robbie Stenzel. Just my opinion!
  14. I would say that Euton is the better shooter, but Pittman is definitely better at every other aspect of the game maybe besides free throw shooting.
  15. Just to clear some things up, I know for a fact that Chane is no way releated to the Ky-Players coach. He doesn't play for the players also. This is the first I've heard of these rumors.
  16. IMO, Im glad to see the coaching change. If Euton and Zollo's verbal commitments are not honored than its for the best interest for UK and the kids. For all we know, nothing is going to change except the name of the head coach, and maybe the success of next year!
  17. So whats your point? NKU already got a commitment from Ethan Faulkner, so they might have used all there scholarships. I don't know if they are or not, IMO Riley is good enough to play for NKU.
  18. No way Euton is a better rebounder. He gets rebounds because of his size, JJ is only 6'4 and he is Holmes leading rebounder. Euton is just a big guy that can knock down the three ball when he is open. Yes he gets put backs around the rim, most 6'8 guys do.
  19. Your not giving Riley any credit. He is very smooth, and a better athlete than Bibbons. Have you seen some of Nku's guards? Riley can definitely play for NKU. He wouldn't come in and start his freshman year, but he could be a nice contributor.
  20. Holmes 09 team is the best ever, the 78 team is right behind them, but the 09 team won the state championship. I think the 2010 team will then be above the 09 team. Next year the three stars: Ricardo, Jeremiah, and Elijah, will be the best they can be in highschool, and will lead Holmes again to a state tiltle in my opinion.
  21. I heard that Morehead is looking at Jemel Riley, but I don't know if thats true or not.
  22. There are many d1 schools recruiting him, he will have many offers to choose from by his senior year! Congrats Ricardo Johnson!
  23. I agree what was Rico's stats and Pittmans stats?
