  1. Is it 6:00 for jv and 7:30 for varsity? Thats what I was told.
  2. With all of that said you failed to mention how Pittman and Avery did not play those two games. Also Ricardo sat a whole second half vs. Pendalton. Any team missing there two top leading scorers and still winning by double digits is alright IMO. Holmes still hasn't found themeselves yet. They have alot of growing to do as a team. We still have to give them some credit because they are still winning games. As the seasons progresses I see them molding together and going back down state to defend their title!
  3. Very deep three by Brady Jolly at the buzzer to give the camels the win. It was actually an exciting game for once.
  4. I don't see Brady Jolly and Dylan Greene as a matchup since Jolly is 6-4 and long while Greene is 6-1 tops. The Camels are very deep this year with 6 seniors plus a handful of talented juniors and McGovney. Should be a good game at first but I see the Camels pulling away. CC by 10-15.
  5. According to Chad himself, he currently has no offers. In this interview with full court preps. I don't know hold old this is but I know it was sometime this summer. Here is the link: http://fullcourtpreps.blogspot.com/2009/01/chad-jackson.html
  6. Popp ahead of Avery? There's no way. Popp didn't really see that much minutes last year at the varsity level. Avery was one of Connor's best players.
  7. That would be great. IF JJ has a very good season this year who knows!
  8. I would agree he does have more skill, than Johnson, but Johnson's athletic ability overcomes that. Also his defense and rebounding is outstanding. He would be showcased better if he played for a small school team. He doesn't stand out that much with players like Ricardo and Elijah on his team.
  9. Wow, I'm surprized, but congradulations to Ricardo. I think he can get there and contribute right away!
  10. He has been going on visits, I believe he has two more to go! I don't think he's close to making his decision though.
  11. I doubt he will even play this year. He didn't get much JV time last year and quit in the middle of the season and came back. I just don't think he will contribute very much to this Holmes team. Hopefully I'm wrong, we'll have to see.
  12. They lost 3 contributors from last season, and the only one I think that can't be replaced is Riley. Rice is more than ready to step in and start, he could of last year, the you have Avery coming in. If he is eligible this what their starting five might be: Sr-Ricardo Johnson- 6"5 Sr-Demetrius Avery- 6"3 Sr-Jeremiah Johnson- 6"4 Jr-Kevon Rice- 6"6 Sr-Elijah Pittman- 6"7 (might even be 6"8 now) off the bench Sr- Willie Slusher- 6"3 Jr- Nair Jones- 6"2 Jr- Peirre Mayfeild- 5"11 Sph- Christian McClendon- 5"11 Jr- Chris Hayes- 5"11 They will be deep this year, and one of the biggest lineups in the state.
  13. Ricardo's highschool basketball season hasn't even started yet, and he is getting a lot of attention. I think he will continue to get offers, and maybe get some high major offers towards the end of the year, especially if you see Holmes at Rupp again this year.
  14. Check out Rivals, it has them on there.
  15. He has an offer from WKU and he was being recruited, by Chris Mack, who is now the head coach for Xavier.
  16. Vee Sanford isn't exactly a good outside shooter, but he's going to Gerorgetown. Right now his outside jumper needs work, but its not like he cant shoot the ball. He has a great mid range game. I think he would be better at the small forward position. He is a tremendus athlete with length. Ricardo has a good all around game, not to mention he has great defense. I believe he can play at a bigtime school, but if a smaller school suites him better than Ricardo will go there.
  17. I'm not sure I'm just going by what Ricardo said.
  18. Those teams above are scheduled every year regardless of the coach, because the teams are in their district/ region or they are apart of NKAC. So let me ask you this, when did Coach Reitz ever schedule to travel to a state power house like Scott County?
  19. Ricardo has recieved offers from Central Michigan and Western Kentucky! Good job Ricardo and the Firebirds who finished fifth at the D-2 natioanls.
  20. The Firebirds have won again this morning, and have made it to the quarter finals. They play again at 5:30.
