I haven't seen Lex Cath this year, how legit are there chances of coming out of the 11th? I have seen Franklin County and Scott County play and they are 2 very tough teams.

People keep talking about Holmes playing to their level of competition, but what people are forgetting is that Holmes still comes out on top. Yes they had a couple of slip ups with BS and Boone, atleast Holmes can play with and beat any team in the state, and their record shows this!

You can win by 1 or 50, a win is still a win, Holmes gets one step closer with every game they win. I would agree Holmes hasn't played to there full potential, but when they do WATCH OUT! I don't know about anyone else, but i still believe Holmes can bring nky home a state championship!

How come Boone beats Beechwood by 7 and everyone posts "Good win" and "Good job Rebels". Holmes beats Ryle, who is better than Beechwood, by 7, and people say Holmes needs to step it up or they won't make it out of the ninth region or be a contender for the state title! Whats up with that? I don't think anyone is giving Holmes any credit, unless they blow every team by 20!

Actually Smith had 5 turnovers, and that doesn't matter because they still won, everyone has a bad game from time to time. He is still better than Jordan Armstrong, Armstrong wouldn't even start for this years Camel's team. Kellen Smith will be the top PG next year in the district.

McGovney will only be a freshman, he might play JV, but i doubt he will be a big contributor for varsity his freshman year. He will be a stud when he does start playing varsity. Campbell will have more seniors next year: Jolly, Smith, Geiman, Neises, and Wolf. They have some very talented underclassmen as well. Jolly and Smith will lead the way and IMO those two are top in the district. I wouldn't exactly put Brossart ahead of Campbell next year.

You honstly believe all of those teams would beat Holmes on a neutral floor? I think your serously overlooking Holmes. Holmes has already proven they can beat Scott County. They are 27-2, with one of the toughest schedules in the state!

Rice made a 3? Im pretty sure they must be mixing up him with Arnold, because I know he hit a 3 and he isn't in the box score?

Campbell County by 10+. After the win against Ryle on Friday, the Camels will have some momentum going into the district. Campbell is the better basketball team and they should win.

He also went basline against Campbell County and threw it down right over a defender. Chad Jackson already has the body of a college athlete. I wonder what his vertical is?

Were you at the game? The first quarter Campbell was 1-18 from the field and 0-10 from the 3 point line. They had alot of open shots, they just couldn't connect. Campbell actuallly out rebounded Scott in the first quarter 14-11. Thats pretty good since Scott has two 6'8 guys and Campbells tallest player is 6'5. Scott did pretty much dominate. What im wondering is what is up with Scott County's press? 1-3-1 with Euton up front. They better not try that on an athletic team like Holmes or Elliot, They will blow by Euton every time.

I agree they would be better off playing like a pick up game. They have so much potential and talent, but that system is just not working. Code needs to give them the green light. When your out there playing your gonna make mistakes, they can't get scared of getting taken out. And that is how it is at this point.

I wouldn't say that it was because of Scott County's defense as much as it was that the Camels could just not make a shot. They had many open looks and even had offensive rebounds and second chance opportunities. They couldn't stop Scott County, especially their big guys. If Campbell County would have shot better from the field this would have been a 20-25 point win.

They had pretty good descriptions of the Holmes players. I didn't think Pittman would be ahead of the pack. He still has alot to work on. Is Matt St. John really that good? I've never heard of him until now. They might have J. Johnson a little inacurate, hes not really the scorer it says on there. Great for them to be getting exposure by ESPN.
