I've noticed alot this year, when Pittman gets in foul trouble, or is having an off night, R. Johnson ends up having the big game, because at the end of the game he takes it over. And if Pittman has an off game, (I don't think he will), look for Ricardo to get it done!

RIco started for taft freshman year and Jj played a little bit of jv.

Thats right, but they left Two Rivers at the end of 7th grade due to family issues, and returned back their sophmore years. They almost came back their freshman years but the circumstances weren't right.

Anyone know the box score, or how many points Rico and Riley had? Sounds like they both had good games.

The end of the game was very exciting. With Pittman on the bench Rico took over the game, like I know he can. Holmes played very sloppy in the 1st half, I wonder how many turnovers they had? The ticky tac fouls and turnovers is what kept Scott in the game. They are very dangerous but they shouldn't of been in the game. Like what others mentioned, the only ninth region team that can beat Holmes, is Holmes. Any other team in nky, that played as bad as Holmes did, with the fouls would of definitley lost. Holmes has to much talent, and thats why the won this game. At the end Holmes got it together, and with a little bit of luck (Smith missing the game winning free throw) Holmes came out with the W This was a great experience for both teams, Scott played a great game, and almost won against the best team in the state!

Holmes will be too much for Scott, ill take them by 15+ and Holmes reserves will see some time in the 4th quarter!

I just hope that who ever comes out of the lower bracket, doesn't run out of gas before the championship game, that is what seemed to happen to holmes last year after knocking of Lex Cath!

Well you have to think about those prep schools get players from all around the country. Holmes is made up from all home grown boys. I don't know if Holmes can beat those teams but I don't see them blowing Holmes out! IMO

Last time Newport played CC at home Nerl had a game high 37 points. Look for him to have a big game! Go Camels!

His biggest weakness is shooting. And when you have bigger defenders that are just as quick as you, you can't always blow by them, thats where the jump shot comes in, and right now from what I seen, he lacks in that part of his game.

I agree, he will be the best college player to come from this class where ever he ends up, he is the real deal!

I guess you didn't see the begining of the game where he got a block and next time down he got a steal that sparked the run for Holmes to take an early 6 or 7 point lead?

The point is Holmes played a good team from Maryland and won. It doesn't matter how many D1 prospects a team has. Yes Eta might have exagerated a little bit, but the team was still pretty good, that should be considered a quality win IMO. Holmes won't see competion like that for the rest of the season!

Is the Oak Hill game going to be on tv also?

O I didn't know who you ment by "We". Judging by how this tournament has gone so far, its hard to make a prediction based on outcomes of past games. For example, Scott lost to Dixie who Campbell beat by 20. GRC just lost to a good Conner team and are suffering from injuries i believe. So with that said, Campbell should be capable of beating a GRC team that isn't a 100%. If Campbell comes out playing their "A" game they could pull off an upset. It should be a good one!

Jordan Smith will not play Thursday. He may miss a couple of games due to the ankle injury Monday night vs. Highlands.

Nice to see Holmes Bulldogs getting some recognition. This is a home grown basketball team not a prep school that are in all of the national polls. Keep up the good work!

Yeah I've always thought 9th region was better than 10th. I still can't believe Scott lost to Dixie. There is no clear cut No. 2 team in nky this year. I hope we get Scott again, I'd like to see Campbell pull of the win (Which they can) so they can prove everyone wrong about Scott clearly being better than them!

It was a pretty physical game. Especially the 4th quater, neither team could buy a basket. Again the Camels lose by 2 for the 3rd time in a row. They have proven they can play with any team in nky, when are they gonna pull out the win! Not a bad game just couldn't get over the hump! Is Campbell out of the tournament or do they play again? If so, who do they play?

Boone was only up by 10+ a couple of times. CCHS never let the game get out of hand. Even if Campbell didn't score at the end, how can you say a 4 point game not close. Yes i would say Boone led most of the way, but no way was Boone dominating. So i don't know why you say that at the end! Campbell fought hard at the end and almost stole it from Boone!

So is the Campbell Co vs. Highlands game at 5:15 or 7:00?
