It actually happens a lot. Just thinking back I can think of several in the last 15 years. 2014 CovCath 2013 Holmes 2010 Newport 2007 Holmes 2005 Holmes I’m sure there have been a lot more too, just thought of those off the top of my head.

That is correct. They lost to Holmes in double overtime.

That’s just not possible anymore. If the 9th Region was all of the Kenton, Campbell and Boone County Schools, the region would have 27 teams that’s crazy. I understand where you’re coming from though.

I don’t really think they did. If they can get by Saint Henry, their next game would be against either Conner or Newport. They have both done something that CCH hasn’t done this year and that’s beat Beechwood. If Beechwood gets by Dixie, they would play a team that has beaten them either way. I think all the games could be close and should be a great tournament for 9th Region fans.

They had the games tonight scheduled for 6 and 8 and the 2nd game started at 7:45.

To be honest, nothing would surprise me in the 9th this year. ANY of the 8 teams that make the Region can win it.
