Yes they did beat Cooper in a conso game in the Erlanger Lloyd tournament @ Christmas but I wouldn't call 56-43 dominating them. They also lost 3 times to Cooper when they counted, 2 district games and 1 to get to the regional.

Just being sarcastic! For years they used to have the "Pick the Sweet 16" contest in the Ky. Post and it was always fun to try to figure out how many regions you could get right. I had a tie for the most correct picks one year @ 12 regions but lost in a tie-breaker on 9th region final game pts. I think it was the year that Lloyd won the 9th and the game was very low scoring. I think somebody picked some ridiculously low score and everybody else went way over. The predictions and silly Lit rankings were a few of the things you could use to try to figure a winner.

I haven't seen enough games this winter to make an educated guess on most of the regions.

Well I guess we might as well just not even play some of the regions. Just give them their place in the Sweet 16.

Disciplinary reasons?

Cooper hasn't been the same team since they beat Holmes. Sometimes it takes a slap of reality to bring kids back down to earth. Coach Sullivan has his hands full in getting these kids ready to play Boone Co. on Friday. They need to secure the 2 seed if they want to have any chance to make their first trip to the regional.

Could they be prime for an upset @ Cooper this week? Cooper needs a win to secure the #2 seed in the district and I can guarantee you that coach Sullivan will have somebody in McQueary's face all night long.

Here is the way the the 33rd should shape up even though the KHSAA shows Conner with a 3-4 district record and Cooper 2-4 record. I believe the KHSAA site included the Lloyd tournament game betweeen the teams which I don't think is considered a district matchup. I could be wrong on that but anyway this is the way I see it. Boone Co. 5-0 Cooper 2-3 Ryle 2-4 Conner 2-4 Boone Co plays @ Cooper on Feb. 10th Should Cooper upset Boone Co. they would have the #2 seed, but if they lose it leaves 3 teams @ 2-4. Cooper has beaten Conner twice and lost to Ryle twice and Ryle has beaten Cooper twice and lost to Conner twice, so how do they determine the #2 seed with a 3-way tie?
