Lloyd 56 St Henry 37

Recommended Posts

Lloyd was making their treys, St Henry not so much.

Disappointed but not surprised because Lloyd's talent has become more apparent as the season progressed.

Tonight Lloyd was focused and fast!

Lloyd had a very entertaining student section!

St Henry scored the first bucket and then Lloyd rolled off 17 in a row and it never got closer than 8 from there. Carter was really good early and McKay finished at the rim over and over in the 2nd half. Carter is growing into a very solid high school PG, and if he plays well he can make Lloyd dangerous next week...

I was just thinking that. They remind me of how Newport got on a roll a couple of years ago. When they make 3's watch out because they will shoot them all night.

I dont think they have as much talent and size as the Newport team did back then but they are scary quick and when hot they are definitely lethal. The Bray kid compliments the smaller quick hot shooting guards with his slashing/flying around style of play.

I agree they are not as talented or big, but they are hot at the right time and you just never know. I think the Dixie game gave them lots of confidence. They will be a tough out.
