TDFred are you serious? I was sitting right behind the bench and let me tell you something I heard alot of things being said by Coach Brannen and it wasn't words of coaching. I have known Grant for several years when he was just an outstanding player at NewCath. Outside of when he is coaching he is always a respectful young man but I was shocked at the game last night with his language. He was given an extra long rope last night by the refs. He was allowed to storm out on the floor when he felt there was a no call on the goal tending call and then talk to the refs during the whole timeout. He pounded his fist in his chair when he didn't get the calls he wanted. The calls ended up going New Cath's way. This wasn't why the Camels lost but it did add to it. For you to say that the Camels could only foul the Breds because they couldn't stop them is crazy. So I am the second person on this post that heard the way the Brannen was talking on the sideline, are you going to call me a liar as well? Fine if you do and I will just chalk your post up to being a HOMER and will just assume that you are only going to be one sided on your post for the Breds. I would watch making that comment about being beat down from a small school year end and year out. I think the records in all sports is a lot closer than what you think over the lifetime of these two playing each other.

I believe it was actually a fake FG as time expired, not a fake PAT.

This is why we should never predict scores or margins of victory on here. Wow, you never know when you might get surprised. So proud of Aric, the coaching, and the players. It is so much fun to watch a team that actually shoots the ball and runs the floor so much. That may have been Scott Kuhnhein who played on a scholarship at Ohio State, as far as Hamblen and Nevels, they both certainly did have scholarships to UK, so they both can be added this list

Really? How is that? A coach and staff train and prepare athletes to play. A teacher presents the knowledge for the students to learn. The administration? They hire and fire staff, make "school" decisions and do what the state board has told them to do. They have no direct influence on the students grades. I think you need a better comparison.

Ok, the academic scores are better but you are going to give Strong and the administration credit for that? C'mon, that is a joke. The scores are better due to state influence, teachers and students; not the administration and principals. If you only knew some of the stuff that goes on behind closed doors with the Campbell County School board and within the schools, you would be shocked. As far as UKFan's statement on the school board member who's kids go to be Beechwood, she should be let go. How can you make decisions about "our" school system when it isn't even good enough for your kids. She is just upset because her lawsuit last year didn't have any merit.

Actually if the official raises his right hand before he rotates the fists, signaling "dead ball" or "prior to the snap", then you know it is a false start. If they let the play run and then rotate the fists around each other, then it is illegal procedure, so its actualy pretty east to tell which penalty the referee is calling

Just thought of a Conner grad, Jason Johnson. He may not be the best but should be mentioned. Played MLB and was a good basketball player at Conner. As I am typing this I just remembered the athlete that I think could be the best but not sure of his basketball numbers and that is Jelani Brandon of Lloyd. Only thing you can say about him is...what an athlete! Baseball, Football, Basketball, and Track.

This play was obviously not intended to be a kneel down (watch the upback on the right and the deep back). It was 4th down and the clock would have stopped as soon as the player kneeled, giving the ball back to the other team with time stil on the clock. The coach probably instructed the QB to run around until the clock expired then fall down.

Please enlighten us on the process for Dale to easily solve this issue? Is it the same way that Coach Krumplebeck could solve the issue of the visitors dugout and bulpen at the Cov Cath baseball field? I'm not interested in hearing your "Highlands has been that way longer" argument either. Lets be objective here, please enlighten me on the difference between these two situations, I don't need a 2 paragraph long response, just something straight to the point. I have seen pitchers warm up in that bullpen and if they stride over 3 feet, there is a 3 inch legde onto concrete, furthermore the dugout has no fence in front of it and has room for about 10 kids to stand in (unprotected from foul balls off the bat of right handed batters). I guess it cost much more to build a new dugout, or add 2 wheel barrows full of dirt to a bullpen than it does to move an entire set of football bleachers sitting on pillars over a cliff. Good stuff from you as always.
