Have you actually seen Anderson play? Not saying that they are the favorite, but they might be the most "balanced" team in the region. No one has a better center, their guards have been pretty good, and McKee is a pretty nice player. Plus, they play a tough schedule and should be ready post-season time. That being said, I'd say South Oldham has the most experienced talent in the region, and should be the favorite.

I think it's going to be a good game. However, I think Wells is the best player on the floor (maybe the region) and Shelby will pull it out. Don't stare at records too much... The Lady Rockets schedule is murder.

I hope they get to play. The weather doesn't look good.

It's clear that the 9th is better than the 8th. But, the 10th?! Come on.

Lex. Christian is going to be a hard out. I think Walton Verona could be a Cinderella type team.

This is certainly a regional tourney type game. Especially when you consider there is NO chance SK or Shelby doesn't go to the regional tourney. As whether it's as big as it has been in years past? Prolly not, but it is an important game nonetheless.

That's awful to hear. Seems like there are more and more knee injuries...

Walton is going to be a very tough game for Owen. However, in the 8th anything can happen.

I'm sure this thread will bring a lot of discussion... I'll have to think a while for top 10, but for my money, #1 would be Shelby Co's Wells. Then, South's Whitfield, Anderson's McKee and Brown, and either Gayheart or Devine rounding out the top 5. I think...

Great points! I wish that all the top 8th teams played each other during the regular season. It would serve as a great preview for what will be a wild tourney. BTW, I still think that Shelby will be in the thick of it before it's all over.

The 8th is really young this season. Simon Kenton and Oldham are probably the most "senior" teams.
