Newport / DeSales predicitons
Well actually it is the Catholic Schools that usually don't have their own facilities because they have to pay for it all themselves with donations and such....The Public Schools get their facilities primarily from the city, I believe.

O, my bad I mixed the game score up because I didn't go to the game but saw the score and must have read it wrong. Thanks.

Newport / DeSales predicitons
I honestly think it all comes down to which team comes out of the locker room for Newport. Is it going to be the team that Only lost by 6 to Holy Cross in overtime on Holy Crosses senior night or is it the Newport team that came out against Scott or Lloyd and lost by bigger margins. Overall, I think that Newport definately has the talent to win this game in an upset fashion, but they will have to play good.

True, but I think the district games make it all that more important which is why I said Holy Cross.:thumb:

Class 2A - Lloyd Memorial @ Christian Academy-Louisville
I'm gonna have to go with the Juggs by a touchdown. I wouldn't be surprised at all if all 4 nky 2a teams came out of this weekend still in it.

Class 1A - Trimble County @ Beechwood
Does anyone know if they do for sure run it?

Class 2A - Carroll County @ Covington Holy Cross
It depends on what HC team shows up, but I still see them beating them by two or three touchdowns.

Smallest teams in the state with the best talent.
Holy Cross won't have a guy over 6'3 in their top six. 6'3, 6'3, 6'2, 6'1, 5'11, 5'11.

It's a given, but Holy Cross vs. Cov Cath always brings out a full house. One of the best atmospheres for games with both student sections filled to the top and usually a great game!

How about Scott and HC? Not in the same region, but many of these kids live around each other and this could be for bragging rights.

Best rushing performances this year
Was the team he played any good? Either way that's amazing, but i'm just wondering.

Conner 40 Holmes 6
Yea, but just while he has been there you have seen a slight improvement. But like you said the kids have to want it too.

Who are the playmakers for Carrol County?

Whoever #44 is for KC had lightning speed. He had one very long run and caught HC's running back from behind on a long run. Also #2 was a very nice receiver, and they had a good core of receivers overall. What happened is HC played their worst half of football this year in the first half and KC is to good of a team to do that and expect to be fine. They went into halftime down 31-6, then they came out the second half playing like they can and it showed as I believe their defense maybe gave up one first down in the second half until KC scored with 1 minute left. Overall not a real good showing for HC right before playoffs, but if they come out like they did in the second half for a whole game they could be dangerous.

It could have been way uglier.

Beechwood/NCC Predictions
This game is always a good one and I don't see this year any different. I'm going to go with Beechwood scoring with under a minute left to take the lead and win by three.

I had completely forgotten about Quainoo it's tough to distinguish who the best running back is because you have different cases. Quainoo gets around 25 to 30 carries a game and puts up big numbers, while Simspson gets around 15 carries a game and puts up big numbers. The questions are would Simpson be able to be as affective running the ball twice as much as he already does, and would Quainno be able to get his numbers in half his normal carries? These comparisons can be made and that's just one example so it's hard to say who the best really is.:thumb:

Maile returns to CCH lineup
Really you don't see Ives in there at all? I see it as pg. Shover, sg. Ives, sf. Maile, pf. and C between Counts, Isler, and Wellbrock. Then I see Sorrel as the 6th man off the bench.
