In nky:

St Henry v Dixie- With St Henry's move to the 34th district, this will quickly become a fierce rivalry.

Highlands v Covcath- Just as big of a rivalry on the hardwood as it is on the gridiron

Holmes v Covcath- Always a physical game. Region title runs through one of these two schools

Boone v Ryle- see HHS v CCH

Holy Cross v Beechwood- Winner gets to avoid Holmes in the first round of districts

Covcath v Newcath- two top 5 teams going at it

Games with NKY teams v teams outside of nky:

Holmes v Scott Co

Covcath Mason Co

East and Elliott always bring packed houses when they play against each other, can't wait for their games this year

What about the Gallatin vs. Simon Kenton game.

What about Dixie vs. Simon Kenton??

Gallatin Co and Owen Co will be battling it out in the All A region and District tourneys.

In the 14th Powell County and Estill County. Those two are in the same district, are about 20 minutes apart, and have around the same enrollment (somewhere around 700 to 750). When Estill moved to the 14th region I knew this would develop into a good one.

Of course Hazard and Perry Central is also one of the best rivalries in the state.

How about Scott and HC? Not in the same region, but many of these kids live around each other and this could be for bragging rights.

Scott Co. vs. Lexington Catholic is always very heated. If you are a fan of the Cards you always want to beat them more than anyone else.

Montgomery Co vs GRC is always packed.. Bordering counties and in the same district.

I didn't forget them. I was just talking about the 9th region games in my post. :thumb:

This isn't one of your traditional rivalries, but Franklin Co. vs. Scott Co. should be a great game with a packed house.
