This isn't one of your traditional rivalries, but Franklin Co. vs. Scott Co. should be a great game with a packed house.

Campbell County vs. Brossart!

Franklin vs Woodford should be a packed house.

It's a given, but Holy Cross vs. Cov Cath always brings out a full house. One of the best atmospheres for games with both student sections filled to the top and usually a great game!

Augusta vs. Bracken. Not as bitter as it used to be but still a great one. It's a WAY better atmosphere at Augusta.

Perry/Hazard.

I would say CC and Scott is pretty big this year. I also think that Holmes will have a little pay back in mind vs New Cath.(if they play not 100% if they do or not)

As will Be Brossart vs Scott and CC vs Brossart. This is probably the most evenly matched all these teams have been since Scott joined the district.

I think that all of the 31st district teams (Henry Co., Carroll Co., Owen Co., and Gallatin Co.) are all pretty fierce rivalries. I know when I played the games versus Gallatin and Carroll were always our (Henry) biggest rivals.

Add to this list Holmes vs Ballard Dec 20th @ Bryan Station Defenders of the Station Classic.

When Covington Catholic and Beechwood play the house is always rockin.

There are many Colonel-Tiger connections that make it a good rivalry.

Oldham County vs. Shelby County is a traditional rivalry littered with many, many great games, some great crowds, and often - the region hinges on the outcome.

 

In the last 34 years, both schools' boys teams have won 10 region crowns...
