We here in NKY have seen some pretty good performances this year from several running backs.

 

Miles Simpson of SK had 345 yards and 4 TD'S on 26 carries against Dixie. (3 runs over 70 yards, 2 over 80.)

 

Jacob Reyes of Scott rushed for over 350 yards on 27 carries against Ludlow.

 

Will Deters of Covcath rushed for 331 yards against Holmes.

 

Charles Quainoo of Boone rushed for 307 yards against Ryle on 53 carries.

 

What have been some of the better performances this year in not only nky but also the state that measure up to those?

Was the team he played any good? Either way that's amazing, but i'm just wondering.

The Thompson kid from Mason Co. has rushed great all year. I know of one game this year where he rushed for 3 TD's and 200 plus yrds.

Through last nights game Jeremy Thompson has rushed for 1287 yrds. and 24 TD's.

Harlan County's Nathaniel Gilliam rushed for 426 yards 7 Tds against Middlesboro.

He Had runs for 81,56,51.if i remember right.

Kelly for NewCath ran for 307 yards on 20 carries.

I believe Quan Weaver of Frankfort ran for 227 and 3 TD's in the first half last Friday against Garrard County. Not sure on his final stats.

I know Ryan Williams of Clark County ran right through Montgomery for over 200 yards and I think broke 200 the following week as well. I think the Benedict kid from Estill also had some big games but don't have stats.
